It's a craft beer store with 1,100 craft beers. They're not pretending to be Dan Murphy's where I think you'd be happier shopping at, especially for those two beers made by multinationals.
@dazweeja: im sure they are not pretending to be Dan Murphy! its just a sign they are very basic with their selection and the competition can offer what they offer and more. not trying to diminish the value of the Beer Cartel, just my observation.
@probro: They are not basic with their selection. They have a very diverse selection of craft beer, one of the best in the country. They have literally hundreds of beers that Dan Murphy's don't stock.
They are, however, basic in their selection of beer of faux craft beer. Beer from multinationals that you could get literally anywhere.
Examples that I just searched include Green Beacon 7 Bells Gose, Blackman's Sea Spray IPA and Balter Handsome Elvis Nitro Milk Stout. These are beers from the AIBA Champion Small, Medium and Large breweries. Not at Dan's but at Beer Cartel as you would expect.
Looked up my fav Tiger a mainstream beer not there :(
It's not hipster enough.

They have an awesome range, just very expensive.
Still more expensive than most other places.
