    :)
    Anoother better option is :

Standard Charger with 4 x AA Ready To Use Eneloop Batteries —- $24.99 (Save $5)
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/S4403/standard-charger-with-…

    • +3

I agree enerloops are worth the extra money

      • +1

        Agreed

    • +1 SANYO Eneloops would be the cheapest by far… they work… and they hold charge for ages! :-)

The batteries on this special would be "land fill".

I've got these batteries and am satisfied with them:

      http://www.dealextreme.com/p/gsyuasa-enitime-pre-charged-200…

4x 2000mAh LSD NiMH GS Yuasa (major Japanese brand) for less than AU$12.50 delivered.

      • I use them too. They are very close to their rated capacity and seem to be a real LSD. Also very cheap in AAA

  • +1

These are a cheapo battery. Most likely the only thing that is high capacity about them rating on the label.

  • I got 8 of these free with a speedlite I bought on eBay they have a high self discharge rate (they don't hold most of their charge for more than a few days)

  • -1

Assuming they meet the advertised capacity, this is good.

    • +2

I think you can safely assume that will not be the case. Even high quality Sanyo 2700, or Powerex 2700 NiMH struggle to meet their capacity ratings.

You'd be silly to think they were really 3000 mAH

    • +3

yeah, we all know that sellers are honest about their goods (esp cheapo Chinese products) so we can hand over our hard-earned cash to them, right?
Better deal is the Duracell Active (LSD)AA/AAA from staples using the $20off coupon.

      • are these Duracell batteries re-branded eneloops ?

        • not sure, they used to be but they are made in China now.

        • all my eneloops are made in japan, so i'll go out on a limb and say no!

      • Staples are out of stock on these now.

  • crap price for no name batteries

  • Why not claim 4000 mah?

    • +1

      but wait, 4x 3000 makes them 12000mAH !!!!

prease enshure yoo charg at leest 4 days

  • I get the BTY Enesuper batteries (4 pack). (Genuine, with the paper packaging - the fakes are cheaper, usually $3.40).
    Low self discharge $10 delivered.

  • +1

The 3000 mAh rating may be a bit inflated, but I think we should be fair and not neg the deal just because it is an unknown brand over here. I have bought cheap Chinese NiMH batteries from DealExtreme and while some of the cheapest ones were utterly terrible, the slightly more expensive ones (but still cheap by local retail standards) were generally very good.

  • I have a AAA-size set of the MP rechargeables (claimed to be 900mah) that were bought from OrangeIT in Sydney for $10 about 18 months ago.

On my Maha tester they registered as between 400mah and 450mah.

    Not great batteries.
