You used to be able to get 3 per sim. Now it's only 2.
You can also get the birthday on one of them (whichever you use most recently will get it, and nix the previous one). Then there's the random bonus ones you get every now and then.
Between 2 (3) per sim, most people have a partner, friend, relative, etc. that hasn't used it and then boom.
