    I remember “acquiring” a similar Panasonic waterproof shaver 20 years ago and they cost GBP200

      Mine arrived yesterday. Straight away, its not the usual Xiaomi product I have come to expect. No apple style boxing that gives you satisfaction as you slide one thing out of another.Its obviously a clone of the philishaves, and the flip top compared to my regular is very flimsy. The blade securing mechanism is all plastic compared to the metal/springs/plastic that philishave has. I understand this is cheaper, faster manufacturing, but it looks and feels like it will be a failing point at some stage.
      For $38 it will be used for travelling and emergency backup, Used it this morning, didn't cut better or worse, although I had to put it on the higher speed.I certainly wouldn't gift it to someone because it does feel cheap.
