Are these TVs good @Jimmy ? How are they compared to Sony/Samsung/LG TVs?
Waiting for eofy. 65P7 should drop to $800
Like the A$. The drop mightn't be as great.
The way they've been dumping stock, I doubt there'd be much left to buy by that time.
I already got one. Great tv. Now I can make another price protection claim with my 28 degrees card.
That works with Coupon Codes?
Definitely works with coupon codes.
How does the process work?
Cheers.
Just fill out an online form. Usually takes less than a week to process, I’ve never had a claim denied.
Are there any fees to enable this?
1% of closing balance each month. If closing balance is $0 you pay nothing. I never pay the premium as I pay it off each month. Still get all the benefits.
Ah great, this is what confused me. I always pay it off by due date so should be sweet.
Thanks
@giventofly: FYI You have to pay it off before the monthly statement gets generated (this is when they calculate the outstanding balance), not before the due date…there's a slight difference which could get you in trouble.
eg my due date is usually 26th or 27th of the month. But my monthly statement is usually generated on the 3rd or 4th of the month. If I happened to buy anything in that small window, I would have a balance and be up for a 1% premium. Or I have ro make sure I return it back to zero asap before the 3rd or 4th.
How many claims can you make on the same item?
For example, you buy TV in JAN $1300.
MAR - you see TV for $1200, put in claim and get back $100.
MAY - It's now on sale for $1000. Can you claim an extra $200??
Hisense 43” or 50” P6 ?
Edit doesn’t matter videopro doesn’t ship to me
Can you block certain deals from your OzBargain feed so you don't have to be reminded of what you paid 6 months ago? Heck. Good price.
You can get a price protection credit card instead, which works out even better for you.
Do have that, but only applies for 3 weeks after purchase for my card
28 degrees is 12 months price protection.
@Wally23: That's insane
How does P6 compare to the Blaupunkt 50 inch tv JB Hifi is selling for 398?
Nearly complete opposite ends of the spectrum there. The P6 is an amazing tv for the price. The Blaupunkt is a piece of cheap crap.
i was thinking of getting a kogan tv, is this better? interested in 65 P6 or P7
i was thinking of getting a kogan tv
Don't.

Apologies to Chickenleg (2 minutes after your comment).
Ever.
No apologies needed. I’m a little surprised that people are still bunching late model Hisense TVs with the junk stuff.
Yeah, similar to how LG was treated for years, when it was actually producing quality goods.
Dam I paid 700 for the 55p7 when the p6 would have been fine for my kids ps4
Is the p7 worth $175 extra over p6?
It's apparently where the screen technology switches to a different (better) type. So yes, probably.
hi, looking to buy tv for mum - need help
$593.60 - Hisense 55” 55P6 Series 6 UHD Smart TV
or
$599 - ALDI (Bauhn) 55" ATV55UHDS-0519
both similar price, pros and cons?
Thanks!
Hisense has longer warranty and Aldi has longer return period
Without seeing how the Bauhn looks. . I can wholeheartedly recommend the P6 .
Bought the 50" P6 about a month ago for the missus and it's damn impressive.
Great picture, nice O/s and everything just works. Excellent media player, better than the one on my pana actually.. lol .
Will definitely consider them in a year or two when I'm looking to upgrade my 65" fald Pana.
I was tempted to jump up to the 75" p7 based on how good the P6 is. 😀
Imo. Its already an insanely good price on the various models listed here.
thanks man, mum will be happy :)
How long does it take for the P6 to turn on?
Thanks very much! Purchased….!
Want 75" 😭
Paid $695 for a 50P6 a few months back.. tears.
Lol … You must still be loving the tv though..
That's just how it is.. I shudder at how much I spent on my first Pana plasma.. a 42" pv500 something ..a bit over 4k.. and that's without a tuner..lol .
Yeah still a great TV, a hell of a lot better than the Kogan 40" it replaced.
Mate I paid $1300 for the 65P6 in July last year around the time it was released.. but when you need a tv, you need a tv 😄
I thought a p8 is needed for decent WCG and HDR, am I wrong?
Great price and I like Hisense’s warranty. We had the 55P4 which got a black spot of completely dead pixels within 2 years (not ideal) however Hisense very quickly and easily replaced it for us with the 55P6. Hopefully this one doesn’t have the same issues…
But either way I’m pretty sure we paid about $795 for our P4 because we got an extra 4 year product care warranty through HN so total of 7 years.
None left of the 65P7. I keep missing out on these.
Appliance central has the same model. About $50 more than this deal but shipping was cheaper for me so it came to about $30 more ($1135 delivered).

65P7 and 55P6 both out of stock now. Only the 65P6 left.
Dammit, I was about to click the buy now icon but it doesn't ship to Tassie
I know nothing about TVs but wanting to buy the 55P6 for my MIL and for me to play my ps4 when the wife hogs the main tv 60" Panasonic ST60.
Pretty sure the TV is good enough for FTA TV but is it good enough for my ps4 and worth buying a pro to get 4k?
TIA
Great deal.
What’s the 65P7 got over the 65P6?
Is it worth the extra?
Cheers
Does anyone know how p6/p7 compare to TCL P6US?
i have a sony 43" 4k HDR android tv (KD43X8000DS). $860 for a 65" is almost too good to pass up. Ive grown quite fond of having android tv embedded into my TV's software. What android set top box do most people use with dumb tvs? Also aside from the size, is my sony a better TV overall?
My TV is also connected to my Google home device and the alarm function on Android OS wakes me up most mornings.
Would getting a TV with no smarts make setting up the above a lot more difficult?
don't post of Tasmania, grannies don't deserve a proper TV
I bought 2 x 75" from JBHiFi for 950 few weeks ago.
One built in Chromecast failed out of the box. Had to attach a external chrome cast as to much effort for warranty.
Promo screens at my cafe
God damn. Might buy a second one for the den.
Love my 65p7.
