The woolies generic almonds can come down to $11/kilo, they have specials on their 750gms once a month or so. Pretty sure they're all from the same source.
Are you sure they go down to $11/kg? Price Hipster does show it.

$12.38/kg when on special. My bad. Probably had '11' stuck in my mind for that's the normal price.
Aldi sells 750g raw almonds for around $9.70. sometimes a bit lower. Works out around $6.47/500g,

I just got mine and the cashews refunded because they were out of stock :( They need to create a better system so this doesn't happen.
Did they tell you the cashews weren't in stock before you went and picked them up?
They did, I got the email, but still had to collect the other items that I only purchased to bring the total up to $30. It's funny that they will only substitute with items that are cheaper than the ones for sale. I'm sure they sell other brands of Cashews they could have substituted with.
