Bit surprised to have received notice of this in the email today at 5pm.
Gives one full day to see what is actually worth buying. As in my experience the "full price" items at Oxford are greatly overpriced.

Was in an Oxford shop, for the first time, the other day.
Saw a Made in India men’s shirt, made from “Egyptian cotton” (wow /s) for $200 “RRP”. This place has BS RRP’s which rival market stalls.

You can say that again. The RRP is rediculous.
Examples:
And my favourite:
However, there are a few OK deals and I'm guessing it is good quality stuff. Although I don't know how anyone would go here without a sale.
Some actual bargains:
I have only ever bought above 50% off. Once upon a time that meant decent business shirts at below $50. The RRP has definitely been inflated recently.
I realise this is weak evidence but I went into an Oxford outlet store to grab a couple of everyday suits (2 for $250 deal). The guy serving me was easy to chat to add had worked at Tarocash, general pants and yd. He said Oxford was the first place he'd worked at that didn't train their staff to lie about quality and just sell things that people wanted to buy. He was impressed by their suit quality (all wool) and thought they were a good company. Take with a pinch of salt, suits are doing ok (2 weeks of use).
Yeah my 2 Oxford suits are still going OK after 3 years. Very good for times you stay out after work etc. Only suit I had over $1k is pretty done, but superfine thread suits do legitimately wear out quicker. Not going to overspend again. Under 1k is pretty good for work purposes. Any more is a flex. I don't work in fashion though so no pressure really.
While that's good to know Oxford doesn't encourage those practices, it says more about Tarocash / yd than these guys… not exactly a high bar to beat.
The suits are on par if not cheaper than the outlets but how you buy a suit online is beyond me
$150 for their full priced chinos… "Reduced" to $60 is ridiculous
