I know but I’m lazy and like to have my stuff delivered for free
I like to collect mine for free and not have to wait for delivery… and also earn Flybuys and Everydayrewards as well as using 5% off giftcards.
Coles often have them for 88 cents per roll
https://pricehipster.com/product/5vrXcBfMiusWgIWLRhsR5g~BkG5…haha
Cool story :) I don’t enjoy the hassle of driving, finding a park, waiting inline for the disinterested sales attendant or self serve that will fail and then walking around back to my car to find a scratch on the door from some iced up fool and then waiting in traffic at peak hour to then get home and cook dinner.
I can avoid all of that :)@worker: So you don't go to Coles/Woolies ever?
@Cheaplikethebird: Correct
I guess if we are going to calculate costs, you should also include the car fuel (or public transport ticket) for a return journey to your nearest Coles/Woolies/Aldi/IGA.
you should also include the car fuel
No additional cost… I'm already there to buy other things… (No different to including Amazon Prime membership)
Most times I do free collect, have to wait 20 mins for staff/order.
Worth all the money not having to drive, park, see people, deal with people…. haha
have to wait 20 mins for staff/order.
I just collect them from the end of the aisle…

You miss out on all the unadvertised clearance items on sale too… That's where the big savings are…
Quilton 12 pack (60 sheets) is $11
https://www.amazon.com.au/Quilton-White-Paper-Towel-Sheets/d…
$1.52/ 100 sheetsthis Viva is $1.67/100 sheets
I usually buy the Handi double length when Colesworths has it for $1.46/100 sheets
Viva are easily the best.
I disagree
That's OK.
I don't expect you to be right all of the time…
Best at what?
the 400 metre relay.
I think Viva is much better than Handi. Just test them on deep fried food or wipe your wet cast iron pan.
"your wet cast iron pan"? that's sacrilidge. A cast iron pan should never get wet.
@kxy1983s: You need to wipe it after wash. You also need to wipe the excess oil when you dry them on the stove.
Thanks bought. Good price might not be cheapest but that’s 12 rolls I don’t need to carry home.
Me too.
bought - good deal
Thanks OP , Ordered.
You haven't lived if you haven't tried the US brand Bounty with their quick size towels. Thicker, more absorbent and perforated for thinner tear off if you don't need a whole sheet. A bit more expensive but so worth it with free international delivery.
Well,I appreciate the post - thanks OP, and the price comparison - thanks @jv
Wow.. all this discussion over paper towels…
Good post
.
Thanks 😗. My cousin swears by Viva telling me how good it is….and l believe her
might keep Bounty in mind if l ever see it on saleOnly the double length rolls are worth buying.
$1 per roll is the normal sale price at Coles & Woollies…
