Well, consider that you've got GST on top of that 713… and you're almost at 800. So I'd say they're selling at a loss, unless you're suggesting there's a $150 profit margin in these cards?

I can tell you that cost price is going to be more than $639. As I already mentioned, there's not $150 profit margin in these things.

I believe on lesser models atleast on some recent YouTube Videos I watched, Galax came up very favourable
I have the 1070 in the same style (same fans, shroud) and it's fairly quiet. Can only assume this is similar.
I picked up my Gigabyte 2070 from Computer Alliance for less and it came with a game and a $25 coles gift card

This was the boxing day special {$629 + Battlefield V + gift card) - so just pointing out that they have been cheaper, as the poster asked if it was the cheapest ever for for an RTX 2070. It is nice for people to be able to know previous specials so they can judge their purchase. Not sure of the neg if you respond to a specific question from the poster about the deal , but that's ozbargin for you - the deal was post, albeit not by me. My fault for not telling the full picture. In any case I hope that the price comes down for all, I do believe if you can hold out for a month you will see some decent specials

Is it worth upgrading from a 1070 to this?
This is the cheapest the 2070 has been (for ebay plus members), from a quick search, but there’s not much in it.
