Just to be clear, this is not mocking anyone. This is about my own disappointment.

  • +2

Just purchased S10+ off the Westpac rewards an hour ago. Offer still there if anyone is interested.

    • Is the S10+ still the same price (128gb for $974.35)? And all colors still available?

      • There is no 128GB S10+ only the 512GB and 1TB

        • Thanks for the update.

      • +5

Seems like a lot of people aren't checking the colours and sizes properly so I will copy and paste my response again here :)

At the time of commenting, I can still see S10+ 128gb available to add to cart at $974.35, save $525.00 (Was $1,499.00).
Still available in Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Green. The 128gb just doesn't come in Ceramic Black or Ceramic White as these are reserved for the 512mb/1tb Hybrid/Dual SIM variants. The Prism colours are single SIM with only micro sd card capability.
Note - I am viewing these stock levels and prices from the Westpac Customer Offers Store (same 35% off deal).

Please double check all colours available people!

        • Thanks a lot for the details. I wish I could give you more than 1 + votes. I'll try opening a westpac account now.

          • +1

@Austin 316: No worries. There have been a few ozbargainers here who have tried opening accounts for the sole purpose of this deal but they weren't able to access it. A Westpac rep has advised one person that the account needs to be active and 'used' - I'm not sure to what extent though or how long it has to be active for in order for this deal and their other rewards to come up. Not sure how many or what kind of transactions you have to rack up either..
There's still about 5 weeks to go until it expires so maybe it's worth calling up Westpac to find out what the exact terms and conditions are, before you open an account. Otherwise, perhaps you know someone who could access this deal and help you out. Good luck!

S10e out of stock at the moment, hopefully they get more as it's pretty good value/

  • Going o/s in two weeks. Was considering buying S10 512GB for myself and my friend. Does anyone know if I can claim TRS for 2 phones (only one will return to Oz)? Thanks

    • +1

As long as you have both phones with you, you can claim.

      More info here: https://www.abf.gov.au/entering-and-leaving-australia/touris…

      Excerpt

You can claim a refund if:

you purchased the goods in the 60 days before you leave Australia
your purchases are from a single business with the same Australian business number (ABN) and total AUD 300 (GST inclusive) or more. For example, if you bought items from one business, even on separate invoices, that together total AUD 300, these items could be eligible for a tax refund under the TRS
you, as the travelling passenger, paid for the goods
you have an original tax invoice for the goods. If you do not have an eligible tax invoice you cannot make a claim. If you are unable to present a valid tax invoice for or present some or all of your goods to an officer on request, or cannot provide evidence that an ABF officer has sighted your goods, some or all of your claim could be rejected.

      • Excellent, many thanks!

      • Samsung sent me Tax Receipt, not Tax Invoice. It looks very similar to Tax Invoice - has my name, address, invoice number, date and, of course, shows GST and Total amount paid. Could that be an issue when I claim TRS? Do they specifically look for 'Tax Invoice' wording or this receipt is fine?

  • Just logged in via the Westpac App on my phone, it says the Galaxy S10e is Out of Stock.
Might wait for another half year and get one for much less one would think.

    • is the prism white 128 gb s10+ still in stock?

      • I think it was, yet I cant remember what each colour stock was, can check again in the arvo!

Also, this listing states ends in 30 Jun, yet on the Westpac App it says May 30 so need to check that.

        • +1

You will find that the app has the date from the previous Samsung offer in April but when you follow the link to the deal, the print at the bottom says it ends 11:59pm June 30.
By the way, this listing is for the EPP store but I shared the Westpac deal here seeing as though it's the same and many people could benefit. Didn't bother making a separate deal post for it at the time as there wasn't an end date for Westpac customers provided until later on.

      • Yes prism white 128gb s10+ still in stock

  • Anyone able to get VoLTE working on Optus (post paid). Spoken to both Optus and Samsung support and being told that LoLTE will only work on S10s purchased from Optus directly???

Purchased phone off samsung store using this deal.

    • Flash the Optus S10 image, you can get it from sammobile.com

  • ended up getting s10e contract and can upgrade . a dollar today is worth more than a dollar in future ozbargainers.

69 bucks a month, with 20gb, optus sport (essential for EPL)
Value contract at 35 per month (optus sport is 15p/m)
    Phone repayment 34x24 = 816 (38 dollars more than outright at 778)

However I get option upgrade phone in 12 months and of course spread the payments out over 2 years. Happy with the outcome.

This can also be done for 59 for lease rather 69.

  • I have westpac choice and life accounts. I don't see any of these offers. How to fix this?

    • Got it now. Seems the page refreshes around 10:30am

      No black s10 though.

      • Not seeing the offer on Westpac Internet Banking (Choice Account). It was there when I checked 2 days ago. May be it has been withdrawn.

        • Were either of you already existing Westpac Customers? Or did you opened a new choice account just for this deal?

          • +1

@Austin 316: The offer is visible now. Thanks OP. Bought the S10 128GB. To answer your question I have been a Westpac customer for over 10 years.

            • @Arsi: Thank you. I just asked as I haven't been a Westpac customer and wanted to open a new account just for this offer. I know people had mixed luck with this approach hence wanted to clarify with you.

            • @Arsi: Hi,
How can i access the deal on westpac app? Thanks

              • @katrodiyar: Just go into the Rewards and offers tab. It works via the desktop site as well.

  • Anyone else having trouble accessing the Woolworths portal?

  • +1

Was about to purchase one today however cant find the Samsung offer in Westpac account anymore, I thought it expired tonight???

    • I'm having the same issue

    • Same. I saw it yesterday, but today… No offer… Erg. May have missed the boat. Hopefully Woolworths employees still have access and I can ask my brother in law…

    • Just ordered on yesterday during the day! Close call!

    • I thought I had missed the boat too as nothing showed for me when I logged in on the 31st May (PC and phone app)….the day before it showed only on my PC, however I held off buying one as I wanted to see all the colour options in the flesh at the Samsung store the next day.

I just logged back in 5 mins ago on my PC and nothing there, however I decided to try again using my phone app and discovered the S10 'offers' had re-appeared. Grabbed a prism green S10+ quick smart. I then logged out and back in again and they were missing in action again…..looks like you just need to keep trying both each day.

      • Ahh thank you so much :)

I did notice originally the Westpac page said offer expires 31st may whilst in the Samsung site said 30th June, So i guess the offer has been extended yey :)

        • Thought I mentioned this earlier but the app deal info was outdated and referring to their older 30% off deal that was supposed to end 31st May (commenced April or so). This 35% offer is supposed to go all the way until 30th June though because they stated so once you went into the customer portal. Just need Westpac to get their act together and fix their links..

          • @kaebomb: Just to add to the confusion I rang Westpac on the 31st (also did online chat) to ask them why the samsung offer wasn't showing anymore and they both advised westpac had decided to withdraw the offer before the expiry date as stated in their t&c's….they don't know what they're doing!

Also for me the expiry date for both the app and pc showed as the 31st May

As my comment says on 26/05/2019 at 09:40am it was still saying June 30..

              Shaking my head.

        • It's back on! I just went through the app all the way to checkout. Says expires June 30 2019 now.

    • can you clarify which EPP?

    • Probs a big late but which EPP?

  • Westpac has extended the offer to 30 June

  • Now how to wait for the 10e & S10 to come back in stock…guessing it won't be before the offer expires!

    • S10 back in stock as of tonight. 10E still out of stock.

  • +2

Can't seem to access this via Westpac customer anymore.

"Westpac customers can purchase from a range of products in the Westpac Offers Samsung Store. Enjoy up to 30% off* selected products including refrigerators, washing machines, memory and more. Plus, enjoy free delivery to any Australian address"

Then I go via that and it asks me to log into my Samsung account, then Westpac employee account.

  • +1

I get the same, was just about to purchase a phone as well. Have emailed the Samsung online support.

    • +1

      Westpac say Samsung issue
Samsung say Westpac have incorrectly linked their rewards link
Both Westpac and Samsung are aware and
      Apparently to be fixed tomorrow

    • Have you got a response back yet?

      • Looking like it still aint working

      • The link has changed but now its completely broken.

        I get this now:

ERROR: 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

        • Lol noticed that too.. seriously!!!

          • @Sunny84: Me too. I emailed tech support. No response so far. On westpac end it says until June 30 so hopefully will be back soon.

            • @Drj55: Now they have removed it completely…

              • @Drzoidberg: sigh that is sad news wanted to get 2 phones at their prices :(

              • @Drzoidberg: It shows in the Westpac Rewards 'offers' page again, however the link to the Samsung page is still out of action

  • S10 is back in stock in green and black colour on EPP site

  • A70 is nowhere to be seen on Samsung online store, it is June already.

eBay has it around $500 imported version, no sure how much discount we can get from $649RRP and when will it become available.

  • So what is the current prices via EPP? Is there a list of eligible companies?

    • You may want to check comments on page 1..

  • I have a Westpac account, and navigated from the Wespac offers page, to the Samsung page, when I sign in it requests an employee email address. Confused. Anyone else get this? EDIT: Ok I see above others have similar issues…

  • Still receiving the same error as above, as a Westpac Customer

    • Westpac Net Bank -> Rewards & Offers -> "Shop Now"

Error: 500 - Internal Server Error

Uh oh, looks like something has gone wrong, sorry!

    Try this instead:
    Shop Now

    • I press Shop Now, however it is now showing it's for Westpac Employees

Welcome to the Samsung Partnership Program

To login in to the Westpac Offers Samsung Store, you need to be an employee of Westpac Offers and have a Samsung account. Please log in with your Samsung Account. If you don't have a Samsung account, sign up below.

    • doesnt that still need a Samsung confirmed employee email before you can buy anything from them ?

      • No, that's just a Samsung Account which is free to make.

After signing in with a Samsung account, it then asks for a Westpac Employee email

  • Sorry, late to the party :-(
I've logged into Westpac (customer for many years with a choice account) but no offers.
Assuming to stay ahead of the curve, I'll need to create a Samsung account and then wait to play the Westpac lottery?
Help is appreciated! My iPhone 6+ is on its last legs and I'm ready to jump to Android land :-0

    • You dont really need a Samsung account as there was an option to check out as a guest. Just need to hope that Samsung fix the link to the portal before the offer expires.

  • I just called Samsung and they said the EPP site has crashed and it usually takes a week to be restored.

    • Back in a week then I suppose? Still no offers on my Westpac app :(

      • Do you see if you log on to their website via a browser? I see the Samsung 30% offer on both website and app - albeit with what looks like a dead image link.

I do have my suspicions that Westpac/Samsung screwed up here by allowing Westpac customers access to the deal - and have taken the site down.

        • I have tried both the web brower and the app but no offers in either sadly.
Out of interest, what does it bring the S10 down to? Or you can't access the link as its dead?
          Cheers :)

          • +1

@AskingForAFriend: Prices in the deal title and at the top with deal info :)

            • @kaebomb: Cheers :)
I read some people where reporting 35% off and other 40% off so was just wondering if that was current with the June deal or if it was only for last months.
Hopefully the fix it on Westpac's side soon..sigh

        • I checked Westpac's site today and the offer has been removed.

  • Hi guys,
Am I able to open a throwaway bank account with Westpac in order to get this deal?
If so, what's the best/easiest option?

    • Sorry nope.. you might want to scroll back to some previous comments about doing this

      • Do you mean about the temporary outage? Or another issue?

        • I mean in regards to your question about opening a throwaway bank acc to access the deal.

          • @kaebomb: Sorry I can't see from the comments why this isn't possible. Can you summarize please?

            • @corvus85: It would be a waste of time as the account needs a certain level of activity and transactions in order to see their Rewards & Offers. Others have already made accounts in an attempt to get the deal to no success. Call Westpac if you want more info.

  • Samsung S10+ 128gb is back in stock for $974 on EPP site (in Prism Black only)

    • Nice. Is this through the Westpac EPP store?

      • +1

Just checked it through AustGovt EPP site. I believe stock levels is same across all portals.

  • +1

Seems all the standard 128gb S10 colours back in stock. via westpac employee portal.
They also have a eofy promo spend over $1000 get $150 discount. so i got a 128gb s10 and a duo charge pad and worked put to be $854 total, $20 cheaper and get the charge pad essentially for free. 😊

    • Re: eofy promo spend over $1000 get $150 discount

Is there a link I am not able to find one? It will be great if you can send one pls

      • +1

gday, it's not a link but a promotiom on the main page when i log in. got automatically applied at checkout.

    • lookd like all S10+ 128gb colours back in stock too

    • do you mean s10 or s10+. I am assuming you mean s10+ based on your costs for the phone, but your post says s10??

If $850 for s10+, AND charge pad… that's pretty awesome

      • I got the normal S10 and charge pad for $854. The S10+ is $974 but if you add something cheap to the order like a case to get it over $1000, it will end up costing $850 or thereabouts. ;)

        • Which company store did you use? Unfortunately looks like the Australian government store doesn't have that promo. That's a great deal you got though!

  • Has anyone tried the westpac link yet? whether its back online and accessible . i'd like to make an account (for long term usage) as well as to access the deal. WinWin if it works!!

    • It was showing earlier this week, however the link was not working.

Have since been removed and havent seen it come back. I have been checking daily.

      • Someone just bought it yesterday using the Westpac portal. And seems like all S10 and s10+ colours are back in stock. I can't confirm since I don't have a westpac account.

    • It's not showing up for me in the offer section on Westpac's website or in their app, whereas it used to.

  • Hi, how many days for the phone to be delivered? I am going overseas tomorrow and looking if I can get that before so that can claim GST

  • Great deal… just got the samsung s10+ with the s10+ clear view cover for $887.55

    • Which EPP program?
