Man. Seems like a lot of effort to play that.

Definately is… but I guess it's some quality time spent doing something different with the kids.

I’d rather just take them to a Bunnings workshop to get their free plant instead of buying my own 😉

I'm just going to dig up one of the plants in the back, re-pot it and say this is one I bought earlier that needs planting… :D

Really? … It's 30 ideas on cards when you don't know what to play with your kids.
You can see 2 of these cards in the pictures:

    HAPPY HANDS
Trace the outline of your hand on a piece of paper and cut it out. Then take 5 minutes to think about what really makes you happy and the things you love to do most. Write them on the inside of your cut-out hand and share them out loud. At the end, the whole family can stick their hands up on the wall for all to see.

    GROW YOUR OWN
Buy some seeds, soil, fertilisers and plant pots. Then find a spot in the garden or indoors to spend time planting together. Everyone gets to look after a plant, watering and feeding it. Wait for the fruits (or veggies) of your labour to become ingredients for dinner!

As much as I like the idea of games without screens with kids … this should be a free PDF download for all families. Save the 24$. Buying this "game" will not help … dedicating the time for your kids will.

    • Agreed mini wombat - and cant see this game being played multiple times as it will be more repetitive than board games which tends to have more randomness

I agree. Yet I would still buy it.

The format is important for helping kids want to play it. Holding a card or looking at cards or playing a game of chance (asking them to pick the card) is more likely to pique their interest than mum/dad deciding what to do from a list on the internet.

It just feels easier for some of us to click buy than google and sift through the good & bad when you don't do screentime with kids and the little bundles of ..joy.. get up at 5am and go to sleep WAAAAY hours after fatcat would have been asleep.
