    Warning
Be careful while registering with KAYO
    They are dodgy.
Charged me $25 instead of $5.
Called them but refused to refund.
    Customer service terrible.

Check out previous post on OB regarding KAYO

    • If you add it through your Telstra bill, then it wont be an issue…

On a trial at the moment. Regularly have quality issues live streaming NRL at 1080p on 100mbps it fluctuates annoyingly (streaming 4k elsewhere is flawless so its clearly Kayo issues), and terrible SD DSL. Ironically the exact same content via Foxtel now streams in HD even on low 6mbps DSL. Whirlpool reports from other users is that these issues are common.

Agreed, terrible quality at peak times.

    • Mine streams fine with a telstra tv2.

Agreed, I get 110-115mbps and the quality was awful… It's like they want people to think it's terrible to go back to installing a box… Also I stream 4K from Netflix etc with no issue at all. Would it be wrong to say Kayo got K.O'd in the first round. Maybe one of the Murdoch newspapers can use that line it's pretty much on par with the rest of the shit they publish.

Overcharged me with a previous deal. Terrible customer service, poor streaming quality

After 2 months, the buffering and lacking UI have turned me off Kayo for good.

      Is that you Rupert Murdoch?

Customer service is terrible with Kayo. Also had issues with the app and sound going out of sync.

I have found Kayo to be excellent for AFL football. I watch on my android phone in HD when roaming or I watch on my big screen at home via Chromecast. (also full HD, no buffering) I share a $25 account with my brother.

    • I use the AFL Live App to stream AFL which I can do for free by signing in with my PIL's Telstra Bigpond account. I then use a USB-C to HDMI cable to mirror the screen of my Galaxy S9 to my TV (which the AFL App doesn't block, unlike Chromecast screen mirroring or Miracast). So glad I found this workaround because I don't want to have to pay for Kayo and it is otherwise hard to watch Port games in Melbourne (they are rarely on FTA).

Agree terrible app and streaming is hit and miss, 100/40 FTTH here. All other streaming we use is perfect. Will cancel when my $5 2 months is up.
