    Just be careful to back up the mp3 files once downloaded (if you want to keep them) as the Overdrive login/sync function does not save these ones from Sync.

    The file that is downloaded is a once only drm activation token for Overdrive that then downloads mp3s (probably drm in many cases, eg libraries, but Sync files aren't drm) , but the books won't survive a phone wipe in your Overdrive library, so back up - file location can be found in Overdrive settings, at least on Android.
