    Not really helpful in this case, but they have been around a while. Back in the 2000's, I used to buy Shintaro DVD's from JB Hifi for 'backing up' movies. They were pretty good quality imo.

  I checked a few stores (Mwave for example) and they were all cheaper than this price.

    These devices on Peak Trading appear to qualify for free shipping, so they come in at a dollar or 2 cheaper than MWave once you account for their $10.95 shipping.

    I wouldn’t consider this an amazing deal given it’s pretty much BAU price.

    Sheeva and Kintaro had a baby methinks. And on the subject of the deal, at least in 500GB and 1TB capacities you can get a Samsung T5 for less any day of the week (from Samsung themselves at the moment with the new Gold/Red Mothers Day promo).
