[VIC] Ryobi 200 Piece Drilling and Driving Set $30 @ Bunnings Fountain Gate

130

Take on a wider range of DIY tasks with the RYOBI 200 Piece Drilling and Driving Set. The 200 pieces come in a large and handy carry case, so you’ll have all 200 bits right where you need them. You’ll find each kit includes nut drivers, socket adaptors, a magnetic bit holder, and almost every drilling and driving bit you’ll need. For everything from wood boring to masonry drilling, there’s a bit to suit.

From the case to the bits, every piece can deliver greater durability and an almost endless range of uses. The black oxide coated drill bits can withstand greater friction and heat build-up. And for a tough but smooth drill into tough materials, the 5 masonry bits can get the job done smoothly.

I bought a smaller Ryobi kit last year from Bunnings and to be honest, they are rubbish for any serious work. Probably fine for the occasional DIY but don’t expect it or much!

    • your not going to get commercial grade out of a $30 pack

      • ?!?

Isn't that exactly why we're here?

Yeah can confirm these are pretty terrible. Might be good for the odd job but you'd be better off just buying a more expensive drill bit when you actually need it.

    • The worst part about these kits other than their quality is that they include everything. Some of these you will never need. As sprucemoose92 says, buy the drill you need when you need it. Even the cheapest drill bit performs better than the ones in this kit.

  • Saw these at Moorabbin the other day and figured they were probably crap with Ryobi branding.

  • Save your money they are terrible as per above comments.

If you use actual impact driver then you need actual impact bits.

  • I'd recommend a Bosch kit instead. Can't beat German engineering

    • Yeah, made in china like the rest

  • Don't bother, these are horrible. For an odd job here and there these are ok but for example getting to install underfloor insulation I destroyed 7 bits from the kit because the metal is so much softer than the screws. I guess you get what you pay for…

    • What driver were you using and what torque setting?

Bits are good if you are driving drilling into plasticine.
