Hello everyone! We're back with another amazing deal on the Brilliant Smart Lighting range.

With no hub required, the Brilliant Smart Lighting range makes it as easy as installing the lights and connecting them to Wi-Fi, and you're done! The Brilliant Smart Lighting lets you control your lights from anywhere in the world from your phone, Google Home/Amazon Alexa, set schedules and create scenes for any kind of use you want. We have RGBW and white CCT E27 and B22 bulbs, downlights and oysters. Here's some of things we have:

White CCT Smart Bulb (E27 or B22) only $22 was $39
RGBW Smart Bulb (E27 or B22) only $26.41 was $44

Don't want to change all the lights in your house? We also have a Smart Dimming module which can turn your non-smart setup that you have at home into a Smart System, giving you all the features a normal Smart System would have for only $58.70, down from $79! (this dimmer goes great with the downlight sale that we had recently)

We offer free shipping for orders over $99 to the East Coast (QLD, NSW, ACT and Vic), and $9.95 for orders under $99. Alternatively if you're near our showroom, you can come in and collect them too.

As usual, we're fairly certain that we're the cheapest around, but if you do happen to find them cheaper elsewhere, please send us an email at [email protected] and let us know!

Thanks for checking us out and supporting us through our deals! If you guys have any questions, comments or anything else, please let us know so we can help the community as much as we can.

Does the Smart Dimming module work with standard plug-in lights, or do they need to be hardwired into the unit?

    • Those ones will work with standard plug in downlights. The dimmer module just gets hard wired in line before the lights - most people have been putting it just behind the switch, but you can also wire it in before the first downlight, and it'll let you have all the features of a smart light without getting a ton of smart downlights :)

Oh, I see… that's clever. Thanks for the response!

The major area I'd like to install involves a series of 8 LEDs on a manual dimmer… is having a hard-wired dimmer upstream of the smart dimmer a problem?

        • Yeah, those ones are brilliant! They're the only dimming module we've seen that can let you turn a normal system into a smart one, so they've been pretty good so far! As for the hard-wired dimmer, I don't think they'd recommend it. They'd probably recommend to take it out before putting the smart dimmer in, just so they don't clash with each other :)

Anyone using these? How do they compare to yeelight? I have a bunch of yeelights and I'm looking to add a few more. Thanks

    • None of our guys have used the Yeelight stuff unfortunately - was there any questions you had about these ones that we could answer and compare with what you've got?

Thanks for the reply. What app do these use? And are they fully integrated into Google home?

        • These ones use their own app, and it's fully integrated into Google Home/Amazon Alexa, which is pretty awesome!

          • @BDLT: Cool. Do you have a link to the app? Or a name?

            • +1

@Soapdroid: I do! It's called the Brilliant Smart app, by Brilliant Lighting Australia, and it's on the App Store and Google Play - I can get a link to them if you need one too :)

    • I have the new gen rgb yeelight. Good but randomly loses connection and can be frustrating to reset.

Do you know what chip/control module the tri-colour has? I would like to integrate with HomeAssistant and if it works am in the market for ~20-25 lights

    • These ones use their own app, so I'm not too sure if they'd work with HomeAssistant unfortunately

  • Will the dimming module work with Led bulbs (i'm using the Philips Brand)

    • Hi, these ones can work with any LED bulb that needs a leading edge dimmer to dim. Best to check the lights that you have and see if it'll work :-).

  • Do these not ship to to Melbourne, Victoria?

    • Hi MrWontons - our website had a bit of a glitch and we accidentally disabled one of the shipping methods to the East Coast of Australia. If you try it again though, it should work! If not, just let us know!
