  • Code doesn't work :(

    Edit: works now

  • Does this make your hair glow after using it?

  • How many kg of washing can it do?

I've noticed this black variant scratches more easily than the rubbery finish on the pink one.

  • Someone shared this YouTube video that totally dissuaded me into buying this:

Mostly because it takes so much power…. yeah nah

Hmm? A hair dryer will always take a lot of power.

    • Any heating appliance uses power. With the heat off it's quite respectable.

    • no one should ever neg you for posting AvE videos. Have an upvote from me.

      • I don't think it was the video that was the problem, it's the OP's conclusion. He's dissuaded from buying it because it takes so much power? Hair dryers will always use a lot of power because that's how they work. I'm not sure if he actually watched the video either - AvE did say the Dyson dries better with the same amount of power.

AvE's beef is the price, which is understandable. I don't think the target market for this is the price-sensitive crowd through - nobody is buying this because it dries $300 better, they're buying it because it looks nice, is noticeably quieter, and is much lighter than a conventional hair dryer. If AvE did a teardown of an iPhone he'd shit all over it compared to a Galaxy S9 at half the price or Pocophone F1 at 1/4 the price - which completely makes sense from a technical perspective. But there's more to a device than just the technical side.

        • It has Supersonic in its name: must buy!

Salon grade hair dryers run ~1900w

      4 slice toaster is ~2400w

Not sure how this is High ?

(For those that didn't watch the clip, its ~1400w)
