If the meat is $27.95 per kg and delivery is $20 I would consider.
Delivery fee killed my ozbargainer boner.

  • OP! I would like to ask you this dry aged meet had been trimmed? Or just selling as it is?
Usually outter parts will be flavorless so we, chefs, trimmed.

      trimmed

  • I thought they were Craig Cook "Quality Meats" not the "the natural butcher"?

Sounds more like "natural born butcher"…

  • Has anyone tried it and can recommend it?

    • I tried from previous deal.

I rated it, but I bought a larger quantity and didn’t pay for shipping.

    • I bought during the last deal. Went with the aged rump, chicken thighs and lamb koftas to exceed the minimum spend for free shipping. All very good quality and service was good too. Their Birkenhead store is my local butcher but the online prices are considerably better than in store.

      • Does the beef have the aged funk flavour?

        • Just took delivery. Not sure about the funky flavour, the last lot tasted pretty good. Beef is sliced into two pieces. Large pieces so it's a bit thinner than I usually like, but may be to the liking of some.

  • Very nice beef, but has to buy at least 4kilo to avoid the shipping.

  • Pfft 4KG. That's less than one weekends BBQing here.

  • Hi rep - is it easy to split say an 4KG order with another OZB'er here? Are they like 1KG chunks or sliced or how do they come in?

    Thanks

  • Do these have the nutty/buttery/funky flavour that one would expect from dry age steak?
