I'm new here but I've been a subscriber for a few years now.
I noticed I'm always late to the best deals. By the time the newsletter hits my inbox it's usually a day late and most of the deals are sold out.
I'm just curious how do you guys monitor new posts?
Is there an app you use (I'm on Android) or something that gives you alerts?

You got to check the site every spare moment you have, like your life depends on it and substitute every personal relationship you have with the forum.
I get them on a channel on my discord. Updates about 30 mins to an hour late but if I usually am quick enough to get most deals. Superhot deals are missed using this method but it filters out the crap because they are usually taken down before I see them.

Search alerts and IFTTT Recipes are the most common ways of receiving alerts

Alerts can be sent to your mobile phone through if_notification applet on IFTTT, in addition to SMS or email alerts. Just try your own experiments and see what works best.
