Great price on the Google Mesh Wifi 3 Pack.
I had it pricematched at OfficeWorks (Keswick SA) for $347 which I thought was a great deal!

I used same Bing Lee ebay deal just few days back and love this product. It eliminated wifi speed issue I was having due to range of factors (big house, crappy wifi in ISP supplied modem, modem being in the cupboard at the front of the house, too many wifi devices etc). It's very simple to set up and now wifi speed is at least 10X better than before.
What's this solve though? Dead spots ?
It's a mesh wifi network. You place one of these three cylinders at the home's router. The other two get plugged into strategic powerpoint locations around the house. They constantly talk to each other to ensure WiFi signal is strong throughout the house. If you have a really big McMansion, you can buy more and just plug them into other power points to further increase range. Very simple to setup. Almost idiot-proof.
How is it different to a normal range extender?
This product changed my life (I have a stupidly large house).
Killer price.
Was just refused a price match at Officeworks Airport West (Vic)
Also refused at Hornsby. Toby deal is apparently one of 5 on a black list now
Pic of receipt in case anyone needs it.
Got to say I’m so impressed with this product! So much better than the tame extenders I was eyeing off.
Did you equip all devices with Ethernet cable or just wifi? It's very hard to tell if they are good enough for fibre or NBN.
No, first mesh gets connected to the modem via ethernet, the other two are just powered by electricity and placed on the different levels of our house. The network is essentially repeated through the house on the same SSID (network Wifi name). Very easy to set up and use :) We have NBN.
Much better solution for us than the range extenders / repeaters available. Can stay on the same network continuously.
Hi, I am new to this and was thinking to buy 1. Will it be useless if I live in an apartment since I only need 1 unit and that it will be plugged into the modem, sitting next to it?
@teeshiu: I have 1 only living in a unit, I love it. It probably is overkill/underutilised though. YMMV
I was skeptical but also love it, it works seamlessly, fixed up dead spot i had, and the app allows great control of connected devices, ie turning wifi off on your kids tablet etc
Great product! Solved lots of Wifi issues in the house.
If you're not in a hurry, Bing Lee would often have this for $319.20 during eBay sales.
