I’ve tried this technology and it dosnt work in my place. Suggest you buy it from somewhere that accepts returns to validate it does what you need then look for the ‘deals’ from somewhere like MSY.

    • Properties with 3-phase power may encounter issues.

Also be sure that you plug these directly into the wall outlet and NOT a powerboard, as the latter may filter out the data signal.

    • I recommend just price matching with Officeworks, they have a very good 30d returns policy and they'll take it back as long as you return it in a re-sellable condition.

      • I couldn't find this on Officeworks website. If you're seen it, could you post a link?

        • They don't have this particular model unfortunately.

  • You won’t get anywhere close to 1000Mbps with these. Home plug is half duplex, plus these things have a lot of error correction which erodes
    the data rates further.

You’ll be lucky to get 150Mbps out of it. But most internet connections aren’t that fast.

  • I have a pair of iinet rebranded 500mbps ones how much you reckon I can sell em for? Used to use for fetch

  • Hi guys, so i can use one of these to extend wi-fi or does it only work for wired devices ?
i have a wi-fi extender which is more of a door stop

    • Yes, it acts as a wi-fi extender. They generally work better than a regular wi-fi extender as it sends the data over the power lines.

You plug one of the pair into a powerpoint near your router and connect it to the router via cable.
Then plug the other one into a powerpoint where you want improved wi-fi.
