Hm well it is the older design vs Gen 2 ‘Bold’ - major difference being new is a smaller pad, smaller power brick, near impossible to miss sweet spot for charging.
Advantages being officially Apple certified so it’ll actually do its job. I do wonder though without a fan whether it stops fast charging after certain length of time or temperature..
I wouldn’t buy one as it’s rather bulky, but good price.
