depends if you own or are into board games or mainly shoot’ems.

possibly not the best selection of board games translated into electronic format, but we have quite a few mainly on ipad and also the physical games when people visit.

Hey some people think video games are boring.

  • Twilight Struggle is highly regarded, is the digital edition exactly the same?

    • Even better as an app. Ai will kick your ass if you make poor moves

      • Was considering buying just so i can learn how to play scythe without the huge setup.

  • Boardgames are bested play on a table with a group of friends and alcohol.

If thats not a reliable option and you can only commit to online, tabletop simulator is probably the way to go and not individual games.

That said, $1.50 tier is great value, especially if you wish to purchase the actual boardgame and just want to test the waters.

    • As long as you can play locally (on a tablet, couch co-op), you still get that social aspect but now it's 10x faster to set up and actually play.

    • The ticket to ride one is great with online strangers.

With discord now online boardgames are amazing and hilarious.

      The future is now.

    • I agree that physical tabletop gaming is the better option, this is a cheap investment to test games, to buy Physical later. Scythe, for example, is $108aus on Amazon right now, $18 is worth it to see if it's any good, along with any others I haven't played
