10% Cashback (Was 1%, No Cap) at eBay Australia via ShopBack

11962

Hey guys,

Guess who's back? We know eBay's a big favourite with OzBargainers here so we've been working very closely with them to bring you a mega cashback offer for 24 hours to end our 1st birthday celebrations with a bang!

So here's 10% cashback (normally 1%) on as many purchases as you like with no cap. There are no restrictions with this cashback (other than the categories listed under the "Some important things to note" section) and you can stack alongside any other promos that eBay currently have live.

Please note that cashback for eBay Australia will be running again for only today, 21st April. From 22nd April, they'll be offline again however we’re working with the eBay team to get the program up and running as quick as possible. Watch this space!

Some current offers:

A free 90 day eBay Plus trial is also available with the following benefits:

  • Free delivery and free returns on Plus items
  • Double flybuys points
  • Exclusive deals
  • Premium customer service

Some important things to note:

  • Allow up to 7 days for eBay Australia cashback to track
  • You can still earn cashback when using eBay gift cards as a payment method
  • Cashback is not applicable for items in the following categories:
    • Cars, Bikes, Boats (9800)
    • Coins (11116)
    • Gift Cards (184609)
    • Other Lots More Items (88433)
    • Real Estate (10542)
    • Services (316)
    • Tickets, Travel (11730)
    • Charity/Non-Profit
  • Purchases through the eBay app do not qualify for cashback
  • Completely disable all ad/script blockers and ensure prevent-cross site tracking/tracking protection options or similar are disabled in your browser settings. Certain antivirus software, firewall settings and extensions/toolbars can also stop you from earning cashback.
  • Do not click on advertising banners or sponsored links on the eBay website
  • ShopBack must be the last link you clicked in order to get Cashback. If other website links are clicked after clicking through ShopBack, cashback will not be tracked
  • Return to ShopBack and click through to eBay Australia every time you are making a new transaction

Happy shopping, and a massive thank you for all your support during the week.

Wow, Can't believe this! ebay Cashback after so lonng!! I just bought something today though!! :/

    • Wow, wondering why eBay is back or left? Too much money to give back?

      • +1

PFLASH20 was "$20 off Eligible Items when you spend $200" so PFLASH20 was only 10% off ebay.

          • +12

@flagstones: And? Do you think they want to encourage stacking or invite it? No.

Do you think ebay are a charity? Same answer.

You must be young. Common sense is not that common!

            • @neirboca: geez, so picky

its not like flagstones was writing a unbiased bargain report.

      • -3

        Yes agree.
PEACE also gave 20% on lots of items but expired only a few days ago.

        • And if you are patient young grasshopper, a 20% off certain items or sellers will come back soon enough. For today, 10% cashback on most things and no minimum is good.

PS If you really wanted something that was covered by the PEACE code, why didn't you buy it before that code expired?

    • +1

What are you guys buying I am just wondering

      • +3

        Nothing, just upvoting

      • Stuff. And you?

Just kicking myself for pulling the trigger off .

        • +12

Oh no, now you can’t pull the trigger again!

    • +8

Shit just bought something worth $7. No, really a few hours ago.

  • +4

Don't wet your pants about 10%.

  • Will the cashback work with gift cards?

    • No. Read the post.

Edit: apologies misunderstood. Guessing you meant using, not purchasing

    • +5

You can still earn cashback when using eBay gift cards as a payment method

  • +11

    • +2

I've done nearly $5000 in kitchen appliances over the last couple of days. The most recent was $2000 on Friday.

Still, I've saved a bunch of money with 20% off at Bing Lee, and Cashbacks from Bosch, so I shouldn't be too mad.

      • +7

        Wouldn't be too mad? That's around $500… 😭😭😭

        • +6

          CMON MAN!
Let me live peacefully in my ignorance, instead of thinking what that $500 could have bought me.

          • @Spun: Sounds like a great deal.

            +Vote from me.

    • -1

You'd be willing to take your own life over $100? You're in for a tough life.

      • +15

My dad works for Microsoft and he was in the lift with someone who worked at NASA and they told him that they heard rumours from a worker at Target that Ebay would have a special deal at 10am but was told to take it with a grain of salt.

        • +2

Was that before or after he saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavours?

          • +1

            • +1

@Zaxxon: If just one young whipper snapper in here gets curious and watches it, I’ll be happy. Otherwise at least I gave another person with great taste a laugh

  • Not sure if I missed it but Is the Cashback calculated on the pre or post coupon pricing if there’s 7% off for example.

    • I assume it's the price you pay after applying code(s).

  • +1

Amazing deal. eBay need to step it up. Too many marketplace platforms now with eBay having too many issues with whether products are genuine or not. There’s Catch Marketplace, Amazon, Aliexpress, Rokuten, Kogan Marketplace, Etsy and Indiegogo amongst others. Almost never, not once in six months has eBay been the best way to get something I wanted. I used to buy all the time.

EDIT: I feel the need to clarify that any problems with non genuine at most required me to ship back the item at no cost bar time/effort.

  • +5

I'm praying for a 20% off selected stores deal to start at 10am today.

  • +17

When did it go back to 1%? I thought eBay AU stopped giving cashback completely?

    • +22

That's right. Title should be Was 0% ;)

  • If anyone finds a good deal for new iPhone XS 64GB I will be eternally grateful :)

Then 10% shopback cash back that to make it $176.
Then $11 + $2 shopback welcome bonus to make it $163.
Then finally, $22 Samsung cash back to bring the total to $141ish?

    • Qvo 1tb should be good price as well
