MUST be student, MUST be NAB customer. They are very strict and thoroughly check every entry. I am both of these so I was able to get the volleys.

I am a student but not a Nab customer so they told me to show my id. Bummer

These are basic Cresyn headphones. Worth less than $10 at full retail so don't get too excited about quality or missing out ;-)

Yeah like those outside the virgin planes which i grabbed some before getting on Jetstar. The lady tried making me put them back. Until I realised… stuff this.. there are 1000s of them and told her its none of her business what I do to a rival planes headphones.
I showed her (it was more about not being pushed around by randoms… I am trying to grow a spine as I grow up)
Having a "spine" isn't about doing whatever you want and then telling people to get stuffed. It's about standing up for your/others rights.
I think you know she was trying to push you around for the heck of it, just wanted you to do the honest thing. The quantity/value of the item doesn't matter. We know no one wants to get caught out and told off ;-)

P.S. Don't worry I figured it out. So I just have to click the redeem link on their FB page at midday tomorrow and they'll say the rest. Gosh this was confusing! I went to their offers section and they were like, tell us what you'd prefer and somehow I mixed that up with the actual redeeming….

I didn't get my shoes last time because they couldn't verify that I was on the list prior to the date the competition closed.
You need to have liked the page and participated in the voting process to claim the prize.
Therefore, this is technically EXPIRED already, once it was posted.
Although, we should all bookmark the page just in case it comes up with a freebie in the future!
But the deal is definitely a dud.
Thats not correct about the voting process as very few people voted for the volleys compared to the number that were given away, and some Ozbargainers got a pair who only found out about the deal from OzB.
Not sure why i missed out on the Volleys, got in reasonably early on the deal and also liked the NAB collective a few hours after submitting the Volleys request form, and have been a NAB customer for over 10 years.
Also, how do people know why they missed out on the deal last time? There was never any correspondence, many people must have enquired about why they didnt get the emal.
They sent you an email if you were in the first 1000.
However, if your name was not on the list prior then you didn't get the shoes. They also ask you to provide your Facebook name if it is different to that on your NAB account.
Well that was a surprise, and i did get the Volleys, just picked them up from the post office, but never got the confirmation email.
and no it wont work if you are a UBANK customer. Their reply was effectively that you are cheap enough already (well you're not a part of NAB even though you are)
