  Have you looked at Target, Kmart, Godfrey's etc. Absolute tonnes of vacuums at under $300.

  This Bissell cleaner washes the floor. A Dyson for a fair bit more money just sucks.

Anyone own one and can comment on how useful this is? Or maybe even compare to the bissell spot cleaners like this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/441395 ?

  Have a similar model, basically sprays water (with diluted floor cleaning solution if you want) and sucks it up into a separate container. Will perform a moderate mop. Won't remove really dried hard stains. Not great for purely vacuuming, as heavier and loud and no proper filter. Main hassle with it is the cleaning of the mop head and waste water container at the end, really makes the process more cumbersome.
