yeah i was shocked as that as well since red dead redemption came on 1 disk. Problem with 360 still using dual layer disks. Still , changing the disk just once isn't that bad. Same with with Mass effect 2.

Wonder why Xbox 360 version is $10 cheaper than the PS3 version? I have a PS3 and I'd buy it if it was the same price as the Xbox price
If its like Red Dead, its actually clearer graphically on xbox 360 as it appears to resize the output on the ps3. Or something like that. Google it, you'll see that RDR and GTA4 were both like this, so LA Noire probably is too.
I am still waiting for confirmation on this one because LA Noire was developed on PS3 unlike the other two.
Actually LA Noire uses a different engine. It actually looks better on PS3 than the Xbox, unlike Red Dead and GTA 4. Shadows are darker and visuals are a little crisper.

This is true. Looks better on 360. Disc change happens only once and is in a scene break.
Also, this version on eBay may cause issues when it comes to DLC.

I bought a bunch of games when I visited my gf in Hong Kong and while they were half price (legit copies), NONE of the DLC for Fallout 3 would work because it said I had the wrong copy of the game for the region. So, just be aware that it might not be guaranteed that you can play future Aus expansions with the game (not sure about getting the expansions from HK).

Hey guys, also got mine from JB at $0 with 3-game trade in (traded in a second hand copy of Resident Evil 5, Little Big Planet and Call of Duty 2 Modern Warfare).
My tip is to trade in a copy of Little Big Planet: Little Big Planet will now be offered FREE to all Playstation Network Users as an apology for the security fiasco, but JB Hifi still accept this on their trading list.
Might also be worth quickly trading in copies of Wipeout and Infamous if you have any lying around… Also being offered free from PSN.
Actually reviewers are saying the PS3 version is better no frame rate stutters. I'm no PS3 fan boy, playing on the xbox personally, but the first scene was like jerk, jerk, jeeerrrkk. It's not the worst frame rate I've seen and the game doesn't rely on fast sequences during play so it's not a big issue. But it's there and I'd say the fps dips to the teens in a lot of sections. Still bargain for a great game, personally I couldn't wait for the post and did JB Hi-fi's $78 deal.
If you are an adult, you like playing games and you enjoy cop shows like "life on mars" then this is a must purchase game.
