  • Great dashcam, have watched plenty of footage and this takes the cake in day and night visual clarity. If this was the 2-channel it would've been even better!!
The only drawback is the continuous recording when the car is off, a bit iffy based on dashcamtalk forums..
I've bought from Linelink before - can back their speedy delivery and service. The hardwire kit would go well with a Cellink NEO if you're worried about your car battery. Just chuck it under your seat and wire it up.
Linelink often participate in eBay's discounts without jacking up the price too, so another testament to their great service. They really do look after you.

With that said, if I could turn back time and not buy a Thinkware F800 Pro, this would be my dashcam of choice.

    • what continuous recording issue? you mean it keeps recording when the car is off?

Thanks for the comments and the praise, we try and offer the best deals around on quality Dash Cams. Like Telstra say in their recent advertising, you don't need it until you need it. Amazing what a Dash Cam can prove in a car accident, damage to a car etc!

    • Hey op,
To reply to someone just click the reply button at the bottom left on their comment.

      Cheers :).

See, we are learning too :)

  • Looks like a good cam. Do you need to hardwire it or can you just use it by plugging in to a USB port on the car?

    • You can simply plug it into the power socket, the Hard Wire Kit is purely an option for you. You can use it or onsell it for $55 :)

    • Hardwire kit needed for parking mode. Or get a xiaomi battery pack for non stop recording. Most people will be fine with cheaper dash cams, like blueskysea b1w.

The Blueskysea B1W is fantastic value at $60. Discrete, good quality recordings, good app, easy to use. I plug mine into a small powerbank whilst parked for continuous recording.

  • Unlimited stock available? The RC500S-1CH dash cam now also has the ability to add a rear camera. Where is the link for this? And are you looking at doing any add on deals / discount codes say… within the first 30 days of purchase buy the add on with code for XX% discount etc? Thanks!

    • How about the xiaomi 70mai pro ?… Has a battery built into it

    • +2

Great idea, thanks for the feedback, we'll add this to our accessory listing and yes, we'll certainly offer 1CH buyers a discount. Why not eh!

  • Same deal at https://dashcamsaustralia.com.au/shop/dashcams/dod/dod-rc500…
Not many reviews out there from actual users
Saw some posts about dash cam not recording when needed
May have best videos footage but reliability would also be important
Any comments on the above op?
Also what advantage if we bought from linelink instead of dashcam australia?

    • +1

Thanks for the comment, looks like Dash Cams Australia followed us! It's one of our best sellers and we've never had any customers complaining about not recording. If you use a high quality memory card, you should never have any issues at all. I can say it's one of the most reliable cameras we sell, certainly up there with Blackvue and other Korean brands which are typically the number 1's. What advantage do you get when you buy from Linelink Online? We've been around since the early 90's so we're not a fly by night business. We are here to support our loyal customers. And who knows, if you jump on the online chat, you might even get a slightly better discount if you ask nicely.
