  • Why are they so expensive…

    How old are these? Battery condition?(important, intergrated battery) Condition of SSD?

    Where were these demo-ed? Havent seen such high spec demos before, looks more like ex company rental.

    • Unless the answert above indicates the laptop is of good quality. Otherwise would avoid it:
      1. Unknown condition for parts;
      2. No factory warranty; and
      3. L490 is getting released.

        • Yes, aware of the 6 months warranty provided. Seller warranty is always different to factory warranty.

          • @[Deactivated]: You could always contact Lenovo regarding the factory warranty and see if they are willing to go with it and provide you with a warranty. Be sure you explain that it's a demo/display device and have all the information available (model, condition, ABN (they may ask things about the company), etc).

      Yea interested to know this too. But will be avoiding it for now. You won't know what you're getting with demo units.

  • Where does the L series dit in comparison with their better T series and budget E series?

    • Unless things changed. L is not bad at all, slightly larger compared to T. Both use a metal frame.

      L480 does not have an external battery, T480 has an internal and also uses external batt.

    Quite suspicious that they would have 30 pieces of reasonably new laptops in "Demo condition".
    You wouldn't normally use so many for demo so there must b more to this story.
    Not a single response back from the Rep either…
