  • If only it departed after Dec 20 :(

Good grief….. A VERY uninspiring itinerary. Only two ports, one of which is Brisbane!

I did an 8 night cruise on the same ship and it was little over $800 twin share.

    What am I missing here?

Its fairly cheap for the time of year. Dec-Jan is the high season with school holidays. It can be hard to find decent deals around that time.

      • Ok, fair enough. That explains the price. What about the itinerary?

        • +2

Agreed, I have definitely been on better itineraries. Though to be fair I havent done a QLD cruise before, mostly SP or NZ.

Ultimately, it depends on the ship, when you are on something like a Quantum Class ship, I dont mind the extra sea days. My last cruise on the Ovation went round NZ, and it felt like too many port days. Literally a new port every single day and you need a break sometimes.

That must be quite a fast ship…

152 does not divide 1217. Why is there an extra $1 charge?

  • is tipping still required for australian cruises?

mandatory gratuities of over $160 per person?

    • +1

Gratuities are now included in the fare, as of Jan 2017.
