    • Hi,

      Thanks for your feedback.
We do however have more stock (6 units). We just need a proper inventory management so we don't oversell on different channels
      Hope you can understand

I have purchased a lot from Gamerholic and they always sell legit copies of games cheaper than anywhere else.

The best deals are usually to buy from their eBay store using ebayplus - with a site wide eBay coupon.

The one complaint I have is just how terrible and unusable their website is. Like they have what look to be links at the bottom of the page but none are clickable.none of the customer service stuff works. Search works but they have no lists to help with browsing.

It's so hard to search through the website and all the products they feature are more for the general public (Monopoly - pokemon) and not for hobbyists.

They should really considering adding a A-Z list. To help with search.

Advent games does a much better job in this regards - the guy who runs advent is also super nice with great customer service.

Advent also offers local pickup - I have no idea of Gamerholic does too and if they do where to go for collection.

Also, I just tried to add Quacks to the cart and I just get an error.

    • Hi,

Thanks for your feedback and on our website.
We are looking to improve the usability on our website as we speak.

Which links are you referring to where are not clickable? All our links to my knowledge is currently working.

Any search of key words will show up as long as we have it in stock. Please provide us with some examples.

      Thank you

      • Hey dude don't worry - your competitive edge is your pricing. So you usually win on that front.

Still not clear if you offer pickup.
And what's happening with Quacks - Sold out?

The links are the ones in the black part of the page (at the bottom).

Under customer service - there is text, which look to be links. Or one would expect to be links but cannot be clicked.

Such as About Us - Customer Service Policy - contact us - sell to us - shipping and preorder policy.

Could be it's only the mobile site that sees it, I don't know.

I thought they would be links to information but it's just unclickable text (if that makes sense).

        • Hi,

Quacks are in stock now (more arriving in tomorrow)
Under Customer Service is Contact us. When you click on Contact us (there should be a popup).

I just tried on my mobile and it all works.
Is there a particular website you are using? Let us know whether if its on Android or IOS

          • @Gamerholic: Could be my bad.

            Also,

The search bar and search works fine. It's browsing that's the issue. I like to (and I do on your eBay site) just browse what you have available. Sometimes I see something I didn't think about buying. With a search bar I have to know what I want to find it. How do you window-shop?

Think about all the missed sales from people who might stumble upon a game they didn't know they want, but stumble upon a game they weren't planning on buying.

You need to have a link which lists the available stock. A-Z is usually the best way.

Your current lists are rubbish. What links do I use if I want to find Terraforming Mars for example? It's not in the strategy games link where it should be.

            • @x853: Nah it's the site. Resolution changes screw up the footer so when you try and select it on small screens (like a mobile or make your web browser smaller) it breaks.

I was curious to see how efficient the site was and it's pretty terrible:
              https://imgur.com/a/rUTnjwW

14mb overhead, some javascript and HTTP vulnerabilities and a huge interaction time. Oh and no SEO either and like a 40s+ interaction time. No wonder you don't find em!

  • Anymore copies of root coming?

    Really want that game!

    • Hi,
      Not at this stage sorry!

Their prices are great, but I’ve found their customer service to be pretty lacking overall, at least on their eBay site. Partner and I made 2 separate orders on 2 separate accounts for gifts to each other. One of the orders had a preorder item, but despite being 2 separate orders, they waited a week until it was released to send both orders bundled together in one box, and were missing 2 out of 6 items. I understand waiting for all of your order items for a preorder, but a separate order from a separate account surely should be sent separately? All 6 order items were also printed on the outer box, which I understand is their shipping procedure, but ruined the surprise for each of us as we expected them as 2 different shipments. I messaged about the missing items and eventually got a reply offering a resolution, but after replying a few times about going ahead with it I never heard from them again. Eventually I had to get eBay to step in and got a refund so all’s well there, just wasn’t too happy overall with my experience, and never got the “discount code for a future order” I was offered. Ah well

    Agree with above

The biggest complaints on their eBay store appear to be concerns regarding packaging.

Many boxes received dented as they seem to scrimp on packaging.

Just last month wrote to OP stating I wanted to order >$100 worth of games. Wanted some assurance that boxes would not arrive dented.

    Yet to hear from OP.

  • How does this compare to Gameology and its services?

    • It doesn’t. Gameology’s pricing is far superior. Not to mention much better packaging on orders and the option to pick up if you are in Victoria. I much prefer Advent Games though. Excellent service every single time.

It doesn’t. Gameology’s pricing is far superior

    is it really?

splendor $47 here, $55 at Gameology
    7 wonders $58 here, $60 at Gameology

having said that with Gameology, there are better chances of
    a. your game actually arriving
    b. your game box not being dented

also if I were to contact Gameology, and ask them which country a particular game was made in, there's a good chance they actually can tell me, unlike Gamerholic

never dealt with Advent, but comparing their prices, they had better be serving me my games on a silver platter
    7 wonders $70, splendor $63

I wonder why petfood sellers don't take up selling board games
they seem to have free postage, on a $30 spend :)
