Sennheiser CX300-II $30.39 Delivered (Grey Imports) @ Supermall Catch

110

I have been assured by the live chat person that "all of [their] products are genuine". I still prefer these over the new CX1.00 etc.

This is sold by a third party shipping from overseas who mostly sells random Chinese products. I wouldn't hold my breath on it being legit no matter what the Catch staff say.

    • really? I dont really care about those chinese products. They are made in China. But every one should aware the seller called phoneix or something on ebay sell those ie80s for 180 dollars. They are selling fake stuffs and they paid me for extra 100bucks plus they refund just for letting me delete the negative feedback. And they send stuff from india or somewhere and their profile shows that they are located in au🙄🙄🙄

      • In the unfortunate event that the product is counterfeit, I will be using the ACL, and will file a report to the ACCC with the screenshotted live chat.

        • Damn. Just bought one. 😭 Its time to cancel it

      • I second this bought shure earphones from phoenix which were 100% fake but a very good fake with all the packaging. I only realised when I kept having problems from regular use

  • These are really, really, really hard to be found original, on Ebay, no way. I used to buy original ones long time ago at jbhifi, but unfortunately they don't stock them anymore.

  • what's so special about these?

I had a pair of these about 10 years ago, but this model was discontinued by Sennheiser a long time ago. I'd be wary of this deal.

I had a terrible experience with Catch and one of their 3rd Party Sellers. I had a pair of Jaybird X3's that broke after six months use and the 3rd party seller, Tech Warehouse said that 6 months was a considerable amount of time for them to last and would not do anything to help. I escalated to Catch and they took the side of the seller.

Purchase from 3rd parties at your own risk.

    • Could you have gone to jaybird for the warranty? Or because they weren't a licensed reseller?

      • I did end up going through Jaybird and they were fantastic. The X3's were discontinued and they sent me a brand new replacement of X4's. Didn't even request the X3's to be sent back for assessment. The same photos I sent to catch and tech warehouse, they deemed as wear and tear after less than six months, Jaybird deemed as a fault and replaced. I still reported Tech Warehouse and Catch to the ACCC for the pure fact that if these were only expected to last for six months, I never would have purchased them.
