Are you totally skint? Need to make a note of something , but can't afford a writing instrument? Too paranoid to steal one from the work stationery cupboard? Get yourself not one but TWO quality Columbia pencils for just 15c!
Useful for writing, drawing, doing that rub-through thing that shows up the relief pattern on coins, poking sibling's eyes out, miniature baton twirling, tapping annoyingly on tables and many other things!
The 2B was 15c, the HB was 25c for 2-pack. Both marked at $1.00 a pack originally. Nope, I haven't checked StaticIce for a better price!

Also found 45cm FLEXIBLE RULERS for 15c (down from $1). They were straight, and had lines and numbers imprinted at evenly spaced intervals. And, because they are flexible, you can measure things that are not flat, like a lemur!

Next up, a gorgeous 16-piece DINNER SET for just $5. These are a stoneware with a brown painted geometric pattern. Pretty thick and not exactly elegant. But almost cheaper than paper plates for your next BBQ or wedding!

Finally… for only $2.50, we have a robust yet flexible LPG GAS HOSE to connect your camping stove to the gas bottle. This is exceptionally useful if your old hose was broken when you tripped over the stove after that 37 hour beer drinking session, and failed attempt at cooking eggs and bacon for munchies.

All found tonight at K-mart North Rocks in Sydney, but probably on clearance everywhere. Your milage may vary, all care taken but no responsibility accepted if you miss out on these deals. Don't worry about being kind, I don't deserve it after trampsing around that place all night scouring the shelves for bargains for you, taking photos, uploading!
Reading this beats listening to the script on those late night TV extended-ad shows! ;-) +1 for the write up and I hope the store detective didn't think you were up to something with the photos ;-)
PS. Cheapskates can price match the pencils at Officeworks but you might lose the extra savings in rounding lol
