    I've read a comment where they said they were disappointed they purchased the hisense P7 because it was identical to the Soniq. I had my doubts.

      Yeah, put the two TVs next to each other and you'll see a big difference. Obviously there's a decent price difference, but the Hisense P7 is a much better TV.

    Personally, I wouldn't buy a Soniq again. We have an older 65" model (U65VX15A) and it takes > 30s to boot up.

    Picture quality is fine for a cheap TV… but man, when you are in a hurry to catch something live, half a minute of a splash screen feels like an eternity hahaha

  Our 32 inch 3 year old second hand soniq has been running without a hitch. Decent picture quality and not a smart TV. While I will recommend a soniq again but not a smart TV. Having said that if your tossing between a soniq and a tcl or baun or vianno, soniq is much better quality wise.
