Vitamix ASCENT Series A2300i Blender $645 Delivered (Was $895) @ David Jones

30

There are other Vitamix models on sale as well
such as the Total Nutrition Centre (5200) for $645 as well, but I see no reason to prefer that over the Ascent line unless you really want the tall narrow jug
You can get the more expensive Ascent models too, but the motor is the same and the only differences are that those ones come with presets (IMO very unnecessary)

Yup pretty expensive but they're very reliable and powerful
You can blend raw potatos n carrots n some stock etc to make a soup

Blend any ingredients into a smoothie

      Fresh ice cream

There are few other blenders as powerful, some are cheaper but i think vitamix is the most reliable

      • Went through quite a few Breville ones before I got my Vitamix one. The other thing is it completely liquidizes all the incredients, you don't get any chunks.

I don't know why some people still fall for and buy the Vitamix when you can get an OEM commercial blender for less than $100 that does the same thing. $99 bucks ones are just as reliable.

Could you please provide some links, so I can compare them?

Trust me, I used to have a kmart blender and now I have a Vitamix… that's a huge difference!

Food doesn't stay stuck at the top of the cup.
You can let the blender on for more than 1 minute (without being scared to damage the engine)
      Easy to clean
      Blade are 100% sharper….

My $99 commercial blenders have lasted YEARS without any issue and when I use it to make soup via friction heat, it can be left on for minutes. Commercial blenders won't break just because of that, stop with the silly fear-mongering.
