Stikeez promotion ends 31st March. These boxes were reduced to $2 last week and now $1 this final week. Same in NSW.

Don't think they're as popular as the mini collectibles and/or they have way too much stock as when claiming Stikeez, they give you fistfuls of them rather than the amount on your receipt here. Guess trying to clear them all.

    • Not at my kids school. Like crack for 7 year olds locally, been the ultimate school kid obsession!

Exactly. The Woolworths ones (flat Disney discs) were a none event, the ‘goto coles’ pester has been intense. She completed the set Monday with a final trade, was beaming with pride.

Yep, I got the "please don't shop at Woolies anymore" line quite a few weeks back…

    • ends 27th. today was the last day, in the trash tomorrow.

Wish I could up vote on the basis of your description of stickies as a "valuable family heirloom". :)

    Nice work.

And I saw one on gumtree for 50c and thought it was overpriced 😂

One is asking for $15,000 plus postage $14.95!!

      • +8

The postage really kills the deal 😂

This stikeez figures are so much lower quality than the first generation ones coles offered

    • They have 'generations ???'

      • +2

Yes, Lidl Europe had Euro 2016 series then Russia did the same Coles ones in 2017 and South Africa had them too including water animal themed ones. Probably same factory and distributor.

          Oh… I never knew.

          Thanks.

    Coles failed
the printed too few cases for minis and too many for these terrible looking ones

if they print another 100k mini albums I reckon they would sell easy
    I need one personally still

I really like the first gen Coles collectables and went out of my way to buy at least $30 each shopping at Coles because of it, can't say the same for this current lot, in fact I had a few and in my opinion they are so ugly and in poor quality I gave them away.

    • +1

the Christmas ones were worse IMO, just folded paper to look like store brand products.

Shame on coles, do some shopping today and try to collect 5 stikeez which show in receipt for kid, they told me ran out of stock,no apologize, they don't care kid's feeling.

    • they told me ran out of stock

      maybe they did

    • +2

That seems very entitled of you. The T&Cs clearly state while stocks last, just like any giveaway. They ran out, so what?

  • Coles east village shopping center have them for 50c for clearance.

Are we just going to ignore the amount of plastic both Coles and Woolies have wasted on the wrappers for these? Seriously makes me sad 😭

    • +2

Right!? Why aren't more people complaining about this? They're just pumping out cheap plastic crap- cool for a little while then straight to landfill.

    • +2

The current Woolies ones are actually made from paper, to be fair.

      • What about the individual plastic wrappers they all come in?

        • The individual wrappers are made out of paper …

          • @kerfuffle: Hmm strange. I thought Woolies, like Coles, used plastic wrappers.

Still, if we think of the amount of energy, water, and resources that go into producing these, and then the eventual recycling effort even of paper, what a massive waste.

I think at this point people do need to think about these aspects. Australia is among the countries that will be almost unliveable by mid century.

Anyway, don’t take this personally. Just stating my thoughts. Cheers 😀
