Using the code online will still add the booking fee of $3.50 (25+3.5) But I plan on going in this afternoon and paying in store to avoid the fee for Captain Marvel. Not bad $25 for a Sunday as Carindale charges $42 for a ticket!

Needs to be at least 10 for a bargain.

  • cineplex atleast their gold class is 18+ no noisy kids

    • +2

Are there sessions with no noisy adults

      • Mums and bubs sessions

      • Yeah, kids are usually fine. I tend to find the 60+ crowd to be the worst behaved at the movies.

My partner and I asked a woman recently (I'd estimate late 40's) to stop texting in a movie. Her response was "mind your own business, I'm texting my mother".

I don't give a crap who you're texting, it could be the Pope for all I care - put your god damn phone away.

  • weird booking fees…

    • That's what annoys me surely its cheaper to book online then paying a pleb in-store to take payment and do seat allocation etc

      • Exactly what i thought. I got an answer saying it costs money to run a website.. i thought.. can't be more expensive than 3 kids in the store multiplied by how many cinemas? (15?)

        • haha they're probably paying Harvey Norman to run it so that might be true LOL

  • +2

Never really understood the justification for the booking fee.

    • It's because they think they are Ticketek / Ticketmaster / '80s video shop (membership fees).
