No QLED a bit sharper than LED but not as good as OLED.
In the middle basically is LED.
I cant understand the difference between this and NU 8000
Check it out in store, QLED is sharper and brighter colour than LED.
@superforever: ok so Q stands for Quantam dot, looks like QLED is similar to hisense P8
@superforever: It's not sharper, but it is slightly brighter has slightly better color.
Would I pay an extra $500 over a NU8000? Nope.
@Jikx: Agree, $500 extra not worth it.
Been waiting for the QA65Q7…(https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/QA65Q7FNAWXXY-Samsung-65-inch-Se…)
Every other model has been on sale :(
Hi Op, got one from them earlier in the year for just over $1700. great tv.
We have a very bright lounge room and picture looks fantastic.
Sound is not bad too - must have small woofers built in, using sound bar only for movies now.
Another great thing - you can have Smart apps pointed to a different country, but still use Australian channels Freeview apps accessed directly from live channels.
If you can't decide between NU8000 and Q6, for same price or couple hundred extra -Q6 anytime.
If you are waiting for Q7 on special, my understanding is that it has external box for connections and slightly better picture. Maybe worth $200-300 more. Check threads here for more info.
atm its over $400 difference between !6 and 8000, why do you say its worth going for Q6?
Heaps of numbers to compare here, but yeah would like to hear real-world feedback… =)

Just one cable between the box and the TV a bit worry me :)
Don't know how long this cable is, but if you hang your tv on the wall you need to think where to put the box…
The idea is you hang the TV, run 1 cable down to the cabinet and put the one-connect box in there. So cable should be a decent length.
Sharper and brighter. Best go to the store and compare side by side. Ambient mode is nice too.
how do these compare to Sony X90F 65" 4K UHD Android Smart LED TV?
Q6 has slightly better color, but worse blacks, contrast, real world brightness, and motion handling. The X900F is a FALD panel, and I would class it a fraction below a Q8 - and I would definitely pay the extra $200-300 over a Q6.
thanks, do you mean the Q7 is worth paying extra over the X90F? I have some reservations on Q and OLED's.
I mean the X900F is almost as good as the Q8 yet being cheaper than the Q7. The Q7, despite it's high price, is only edge lit… so a bit of a deadzone product.
I agree with this analysis all I would add is that the Samsung supports Freesync and has a better app experience and interface overall. It also supports steamlink gaming at 4K over WiFi.
is this OLED?
