    Shopback service is disappointing.
    Have a Amazon purchase I made back in December which should have been validated in February but still showing as pending. Sent an enquiry through the website a few days ago and absolutely zero response from them. For marginal differences I would definitely stick with Cashrewards who have been flawless for me in terms of service and tracking.

      Recently had half of my cashrewards decline after using a fairly small credit from a faulty return. My next few orders all declined because of it despite using it all one a single purchase. Problem is that since they take so long to pay out it’s all past the 60 day period where you can query the cash back.

      Mine was rejected, enquired about it, gave the receipt and never heard back, even after asking for an update (now 2 months +). Random AliExpress cashbacks rejected even though I havent returned or cancelled, wrong %s cashback for Groupon which I had to ask about. Going with CR now even if the rates are a little lower.

      The weird thing I have is that a purchase from Amazon on 25 December was fine, but the one on 15 December is still pending.

      Hit the report button, but still nothing. There's just a total lack of communication.

      Unfortunately, I have found Cash Rewards not much better in that regard.

      • I found cash rewards service excellent. I missed a deadline for cashing out, and lost all rewards. I contacted support, and they said no worries, have it back.

      14 out of 30 purchases from Amazon/David jones didn’t clear and show as pending.Weird thing is some items are purchased in one transaction and part of them cleared and the rest didn’t. I have clicked the report button and it says the cashback will be updated in 14 working days. It is 10 working days so far and I’m patiently waiting.

      I've had a heap pending from shopback/Amazon, where clearance date was beginning of Feb. And again, nothing from shopback.
      Going back to Cash rewards now. I'm cashing out and going through CR from now on.

      It seems many have had similar experiences - quite simply my conclusion is they intentionally avoid paying out until multiple support requests. My experience was the last Amazon deal, the transaction was tracked and appeared as pending and then months later mysteriously declined. It took 3 weeks with their support and receipts to get them to pay up. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

    Placed one catch order through shop back, email shows been tracked and amount is 0. one month now, website still showing calculating. Do not know what's that mean. Before that my experience with shop back was not bad.

      The terms seem pretty clear that it's for a month to month or one month on a 12 month plan.

      A few telcos have been offering >100% cashback lately for new plans, so it isn't uncommon.

    Also i have alot of pending cashback that is overdue from 26/12/2018, i enquired and no one got back to me, 3months ongoing is qutie long to process cashback any advice for me on this one?

    Shopback has become very unreliable, even after contacting support cash backs are not approved well past their approval date. Also the referral bonus seems to have magically disappeared from the cashback activity…

          There is live chat. The little question mark pop up on the bottom left of the screen. Used it a few times now.

    By the way What's up with them requiring a telephone number to process cashbacks?

    Cashrewards don't ask for it.

  • I think I’ve had 2 orders out of about 15 Amazon orders that actually tracked with ShopBack, thought I was the only one. I’ve stopped caring or noticing if I get cashback yet link through them by habit. I’ve also stopped using it as a motivator for purchases in any way.

    Similar experience to some peeps above, Have had no tracking from Shopback even after following all their rules.
    CR has been awesome, and having TA as a rep who gets back to us common peeps ASAP helps as well.
    Apologies, but I have to neg this.

    I'm simply don't trust these guys. I have lost over $200 with them from the past shopback flash sales. These purchases have been rejected for no reason and despite multiple support requests, there has been no response. They are not worth it.

    My 30 odd transactions with Amazon were tacked with shopback, except one $1120 was tracked another same amount wasn't, both happened 2 minutes apart! Because Amazon automatically applied some credit from a price error(can't opt out!), but Amazon invalided the purchase didn't use the credit. In the end, I only need one, returned the one not tracked.
    Personally, I think Amazon tracking and policies or empty cart and use desktop browsers are problematic. Shopback is the collateral unfortunately.

    Disappointed to see no store rep has replied to any of these negative comments, so despite the decreased cashback amount it looks like I will be going with Cashrewards in the future..

    While I agree that Shopback’s support is very bad, I have never had an issue with tracking purchases or getting paid with them. In fact, payments from Shopback are much faster for me compared to Cashrewards (1 day vs 5 days).

    I think it is important to support competition so it is a plus from me.

      Same, the last time Shopback had double cashback on Amazon AU I got a transaction amounting to $50. It tracked and was approved within I think 2 months. So far no complaints, so it will be an upvote from me. Greater competition = greater rewards for consumers!

  • I have always found CR to pay out Amazon Cashback before the estimated date, I’ve never had a problem with them. ShopBack however is a different story…I currently have 6 Amazon orders that are overdue and despite contacting ShopBack about each one of them I have received no reply… I will only be using CR going forward…

    Be careful of Shopback.

    They are not honouring cashback's earned by going through their website.

    There are numerous people having issues with them.

    I never had any issues with shopback honouring my cashbacks, despite occasional delays (which I found mostly Amazon, so the problems could be Amazon instead). Even for Amazon, all purchases are tracked so far.

    I would personally go for whoever has the highest cash back, and I found SB to be consistently higher than CR these days.

  • I ain't upvoting/downvoting this deal at this stage! I haven't had that many issues with CR/SB, but the latest one is really odd though.

    4 transactions via groupon on the same day, followed the right process going back and clicking every single time for a new transaction, only the 1st and the 4th transaction have been recorded (the highest $$'s). The 2nd and 3rd cheaper transactions haven't been recorded. There are 2 open tickets for this. Fingers crossed.

    If it doesn't come through (due to no fault of mine), they are going to get a negative vote from me every single time moving forward!

      No one has had any issues with CR that I'ver seen.

      Most people have issues with SB.

    Echoing the above. Didn't get a cashback tracked though I did everything to ensure it was via the app. Had it reviewed, then it was rejected, the reasons they provided weren't valid (I didn't pay with gift cards and the transaction indeed went through, I have the items in fact). Raising another query which will no doubt take another few months to review. Not worth it.

  • Terrible service by ShopBack. Do not expect your cash back soon rather having pending for years. I would recommend Cash rewards.

    It seems their whole policy is to make you go through support to stand a chance of getting your money.

    Kinda feel they shouldn't even be posted here given the experiences people are having.

    I haven't had any issues with ShopBack (tracking or payout) and find them as good as CashRewards. I've accumulated over $900 with CR and $300 with SB. Maybe I've just been lucky.
