    In theory it'd keep the drink cold/hot longer.

    How much longer depends on things like the thickness of the glass and what separates the two walls (vaccuum vs air vs other gas vs different density glass etc). It could also potentially have the effect of normalising the temperature a little quicker to start (balanced out by much slower in the long run). But I'd expect it's the equivalent difference between a beer and a beer with a stubby holder.

      I'm tempted to say the temperature loss of the beverage will be affected more significantly by evaporation rather than radiation through the glass itself

    Another advantage when using double-walled glasses with a very hot drink is that the outside temperature will be toasty enough to warm your hands without being too hot to hold.

    Great for Canberra winters. Brrr!
