Looks a lot like Theme Hospital from back in the day….

Wow. It really does. Didn't think you'd get away with copying something so closely. Hopefully they've added and improved some part of it.

      • Well games are copied all the time (but in 99.9% of cases they're complete shite because the devs are so bad they can't even copy a good game) but this is the spiritual sequel to the first game.

      Made by the same guys

    • Thats exactly what it is based on

This is absolutely a spiritual successor to Theme Hospital. It's very well done and really keeps the original playstyle with a whole heap of modern day polish.

But the RRP is WAY too much - $55?!

    Definitely wait for specials.

The game was designed and developed by some of the creators of Theme Hospital, including Mark Webley and Gary Carr

This game is fun but it's pretty easy. If you want more of a simulation I suggest Project Hospital.

    • I agree it's pretty easy in the beginning. But it's difficulty does ramp up. Still not incredibly hard, but it's a surprise when you start out doing so well and then go to being in debt and unable to service your loans.

  • It's a great game!

Corsix TH is a open source port of the original theme hospital. Free and widescreen if you want to play Theme Hospital fix for free. I love it.

i think origin gave out Theme Hospital free a while back. I think it had a few screen comparability issues though. Might give this a go.
