  • Australia's strongest coffee?
May i ask what is in said blend? 100% robusta?

    • -1

100% Arabica. A hand-selected blend of 3 Arabica beans from South America and Africa, chosen for their flavor and hidden strength. That's all I can say - giving up our secret recipe would get me very, very fired!

      • Recommendations for which will taste best with almond milk?

        • It'd depend on personal taste really, but I'd suggest trying the smoother Killer Coffee Industrial Strength blend first. Darkerside is a darker roast for folks that want a stronger kick. We've also got a Challenge pack that has both blends, if you want to compare.

Really Strong Coffee: 172mg caffeine per 100mL
what's the brew method you are quoting there?

If i was to make a standard espresso there is about 7gs coffee extracted at 25 seconds (44ml) i would get 77mg caffeine.
    ~100ml 175mg caffeine.

    • Totally agree, I feel killercoffee are purposely vague about how many grams of beans they brew and what method they use.

  • Does darker side contain more caffeine than the original or is it just a darker roast?

Ps you should post a deal better than what you give your newsletter subscribers. What’s the point of having a 15% off sale when subscribers get 20% off whenever they want

    • It was showing as 10% for me now, the newsletter discount?

      • No idea, I still see a banner for 20% on mobile

        • Oh right the monthly subscription service my bad.

    • They told me on FB: "The Darkerside blend is stronger due to the longer roasting period."

      • I’m guessing they’re referring to taste and not caffeine content with that comment :?

        • I specifically asked, "does darker side contain more caffeine than the original or is it just a darker roast?" so shrug

  • Negging deal to highlight that this deal is misleading.
Strong according to the rep refers to taste yet is quoting caffeine contents.
Which to my calculations is around standard for a normal espresso.
Until rep clarifies or responds I am negging the deal.
