I feel you could add a step regarding finding friends willing to join step 3
I spent a fair amount of time reading and watching videos on how to play. Unfortunately when I got to step 4: Play with friends, they were put off because game length was similar to Mage Knight.
They prefer quick to learn and short game duration type games like Werewolf or Codenames. Even 7 Wonders was considered complicated (probably should've stuck to the base game rather than intro all the expansions for their first time).
I'm at step one can you link me to the organiser?

One could either ask the question and wait for an answer to drop from somewhere, or make a dummy order to find the answer, report back and help everybody.

Yes I know. I found the info by making a dummy order just as I described, and then I edited the title and description. Even though you are not a Power User, you can choose to make a dummy order and report back in the comments.
@alvian: It is possible that the game was meant to be 165 delivered and the code wasn't giving free shipping. That is typically why people ask the rep for confirmation.
@PlagueistheCheap: It is possible, but then the question would have been "is it free shipping with code" or "code isn't giving free shipping, how do you get $165 delivered". I am not complaining about Domingo asking a question, but we can all chip in and help each other by doing a basic 2-minute investigation, instead of having a question unanswered for 25 minutes. This was why I made my comment.
@alvian: Normally I would, however I was on my phone at the time and it would have been a hassle to go through those steps, when posting a top level comment on a post would give a notification to someone with an associated tag that could answer the question directly.
@Domingo: I guessed correctly that you were on a mobile. This is the reason why I wrote "One could…" instead of "You could…"
My comment was directed more to the three + voters and other members who did nothing for 25 minutes after your comment. But really the responsibility is on the Associated User Alzo17 to post accurate information and to respond in a timely manner.
We all have varying abilities and capabilities, e.g. you on a mobile, that's why we should chip in and help. Anyone on a computer could've quickly checked and told us the real shipping cost, but the contradictory information was uncorrected for more than an hour. And it was fixed only because I clicked the wrong deal and decided to read the comments.
Bought this on the weekend and played it yesterday afternoon. Not sure if we played it right but first setup and one scenario took about 3 hrs. I'm sure we could organise it better now we have a rough idea how to separate the mobs. Also kept forgetting to flip the combat modifier cards.
There's a Gloomhaven app for both IOS/Android that really helps with the admin!
I read about that this morning. There is a lot to keep track of and it's very overwhelming. I'm sure we will figure it out soon enough.

You definitely need some sort of organisation system to make it viable. I used tackle boxes. You can also use the excellent gloomhaven helper app(android) or website(ios) to cut down on a lot of the admin and table space.
Played both solo and in a group and its fun either way
