  1699 for three nights in Bankok? you got to be kidding me!!!For that price i can stat at any 5 star hotel anywhere in australia with air ticket included!!! that 1399 is definitely inflated!!!

    If you have been to Banyan Tree, you'll realise why it cost so much. It's the closest you'll come to living like Royalty.

      if i hade 1699 to spend on hotels, i would rather spend it in Australia wherr my smoney will be injected into our economy!!!and i am pretty sure with 1699 for three night, i can live like royalty in australia as well

  1699… who pays rack rate anyway?
  quick search for similar on expedia shows 3 nights is about $500-$600

  The premier room booked for 3 days through their website directly comes to 22,245 baht which is about $710 AUD. There is NO way this is worth $1699.

  Even if it isn't worth $1699, $399 for 3 nights in one of their best 5 star hotels. buffet breakfast and champagne daily, complimentary drinks and a fruit basket; seems like a good deal.

  Obviously $1699 is a scamming rack rate but I don't know why everyone neg this. Agoda showing $147 per night so 3 nights = $441
  If you plan to go to Bangkok and want to stay in this hotel than it's still a good deal.

    Agree completely, don't understand the negativity towards the deal. Yes $1699 is probably an over embellishment and no one would ever pay that but for $399 with all the inclusions. I don't see anyone else recommending a comparitive or better deal. $133 a night for a 5 star hotel, buffet breakfast with champagne, free drinks and fruit, and discounts at their restaurants etc. Good luck finding much better.
