However structurally, we move engine long-blocks (so engine, with all accessories) on these daily, and they're still going strong.
That’s a good use case, i would think for any DIY users out there it might be still better than using cardboards :-)
I still prefer cardboard. It's 4mm high vs 120mm on the creeper. Means I don't have to raise the car as high lol.

Bunnings has creepers on clearance for $30.
i have both and can confirm Bunnings creeper is excellent value! If you do buy the above SCA version, make sure you "loctite' the casters and probably only use it in the 'chair; option. Not great as a creeper.

i prefer a piece of carpet offcut i have lying around from my reno.
i would personally stay away from creepers tho. i put torches in my garage so creepers wouldnt come in
When using this down a hill, make sure the safe word is Whisky
