You mean being a Nokia running Symbian S60 could be a turn off…

Nokia has abandoned Symbian recently for their smart phone lines and start using Window 7 mobile OS.

    • Is Symbian Really buggy and a fail

      • Not buggy. Just old, and generally both consumers and developers are moving onto better operating systems now (Android, Win Phone 7 etc.) Developers also hated coding for the Symbian platform because the system was just too complicated. But when Symbian first started out, it was one of the best platforms out there until Android came around.

The contract deal that Nokia signed with Microsoft is also proof that Nokia is losing foothold in the smartphone market as middle end Android phones and iPhones are starting to chip away at Nokia's market share. By alliancing with Microsoft they can win back some of their old customers.

      • Symbian, who? It is amazing to see how fast the former global leader lost it's mojo and now has to flock off even the once flagship phones.

It's what happens when your company doesn't keep up with change and new trends.

  • Give the big T a break. They're running a reliable network while the competition runs for cover…. And no, I neither work for them nor am I a customer!

    • I am a big T customer and I wouldn't have it any other way - agree … great network, seems you get what you pay for in telcos.

  • Are you sure they're locked?

I reckon they are unlocked… Not available anywhere else.
