Agree, also Pocophone is a must-look one as well if not Samsung fans.
I believe the camera is better on the A8.
I've been extremely happy with my A8, great phone.
It is a good phone for light users. 'Mid-range' hardwre and decent battery. 32G is enought if not installing heaps of App.
I've got a 256gb micro SD (supports up to 400gb) storage isn't an issue.
Can you move most Apps to SD card ?
@ozhunter68: I heard you cant install apps on sd

It is 172g according to Samsung's website. I guess 528g is the package weight?
Phone 172g, packaging 356g hmm…
I'm confused. Watched a video on youtube and it says this can hold 2 sims + 1 microSD. But looking at SamsungAU website, it is just a single-SIM + MicroSD. Can anybody who owns an A8 confirm if it's a single or dual sim please?
The AU model has 1 sim + 1 sd slot and the international model from grey import has an extra sim slot.
Thank you.
i thought the sd card slot becomes dual use sim or sd on the grey imports?
Nope, the international version has a sd+sim slot plus another separate sim slot.

Got this today, with android 8.0 installed and is pretty snappy phone
The only downside are the headphones that come with it, after using the apple ones for so long, i find these really disappointing
Moto g would be a similar looking but likely better speced option for the $
