    Hurry the f up fc

  • While waiting for the prices to update, can anyone tell me if you can pay with a gift card for online?

    • +1

      You can in the cart.

  • Site went down, i tried using Incognito like someone suggested but the prices seem to have gone up (no longer $5)?

    • Prices are showing higher but when clicking on it they're showing $5. Not everything is listed though.

      • Yeah, i just refreshed the prices went down to $5 for some of the games but it also says CoD WWII is out of stock and can't be added to the cart now, haha.

        • WWII just came back instock for PS4 if you're quick you can pick up a copy.

  • +5

waiting for Just Dance (Switch)! please let me know when it's live

    • +3

Just Dance switch copy is on joycemayne at $8 if you don't want to wait for HM website.

      • thank you!

      • Thanks got one.

      • Awesome! Thanks

  • +4

Yep just got Mario Odyseey for $46 click and collect. Must be close to cheapest ever price!

    • +1

Awesome! I already bought mine when it was released in 2017! Such a good game, enjoy!

  • +1

Sorry OP I revoked my Neg vote but am now unable to + you.

You should really have had many more +++++ for this deal.

  • +1

    Shipster doesn't work :-(

    • To be eligible, your cart value must be more than $25 and the delivery cost should be no more than $20.less.

      Source

      • Yeah so it never works - 2 games delivered to canberra is $20.80. Harvey have made it so that shipster is basically useless as they inflate the shipping prices massively. No wonder it was so easy to get multiple free years of shipster - its an almost useless service as the conditions are so hard to meet.

  • Call of Duty WW2 sold out for PS4 :(

Edit: Back in stock. Got one. Thanks OP. It won't let me remove my neg.

    • +5

Doesnt for me either, Im just waiting for Far Cry 5!!!

      • Taking forever:(

    • To revoke your vote, go to the votes tab, and hit the revoke my vote link.

    • You shouldn’t have negged for something being sold out anyway.

  • Are deals still getting added?

    • +1

Someone's having a nap at the HN office…

  • +4

Aaaaaaaaand there it goes… my will to stay awake

  • +9

    Shipping for Game A = $5.95
    Shipping for Game B = $5.95
    Shipping for Game A + Game B = $20.90

    WTF?

    • Shipping anything in this kills the deal anyway, hence why I've got two games in the cart I can pickup locally

  • Shipster was listed in the cart before but now it is not. Did they up the price on delivery for these games?
Also, how do they calculate delivery for multiple items?

    • If I go into checkout for BFV for PC which is listed at $79, i get free shipping with shipster, but if I add 5 or 6 $5 games to my cart, I only get the option for $5.95 shipping. So idk, it's wierd. Maybe the shipping cost is considered as over $20

      • my shipping came to $20.80 for 2 $5 games - no deal here.

  • +3

    No love for FC5? :(

  • +7

Seriously HN, how long does it take to change the price on a product… Click "edit"… Enter price… Click "save"… Starting to think losing sleep isn't worth it for a few of these games.

  • I'm just waiting for BFV to go on sale for PC, which it's on sale for consoles but I'll probably never play it.

  • At this point is seems like whoever is in charge of updating the prices are not doing it out of spite, regarding us 😂.

  • +1

Delivery prices are all over the place. Some games are $5.95 some are $7.95 and some are $14.95. Something has messed up here, also looks like they raised prices after the sale prices went up as shipster was showing before but now it is not because the delivery is too high. Delivery should be the same for everything.

    • +3

For the $14.95 delivery Gerry hand wraps it and leaves a surprise in it

  • I noticed that AC: Origins isn't even available for PS4.

  • Checking the Clearance option has some interesting results, got a few games like Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart on the Switch side with no clearance branding and full price yet grouped under that category. Potentially incoming?

Arms and 1-2-Switch have Clearance branding but are full price too

    • +1

I've seen this on other products before that have been like that for months. Price is rrp but has a clearance banner on it. Maybe their understanding of the word clearance is different to ours.

  • Sea of thieves isn’t discounted, staying at $79 before code for me, not dropping to the 17.10 in the op

  • +5

Screw it… I'll go to sleep so everyone can enjoy the lowered prices two minutes after I go to bed

  • +6

What is weirder with some games not updating, the Joyce Main website had Far Cry 5 for $5 at some point (I searched for it, it showed $5 but click it and sold out). Also, Just Dance is on sale for $8 Joyce Main, not Harvey Norman.

    • Got Just Dance 2019 instead. At least shipping fee is not as absurd as HN's $14.95

  • +1

Had COD WWII in cart earlier for $5 but no C&C available, shipping killed it tho. Went back a couple of mins and it's out of stock. Was waiting also for FC5 but price hasn't changed yet.

  • Time to update? FC5 is $47.50?

  • Thanks O.P., picked up Mario Odyssey for $46.55 C&C. Great price!

  • Thanks OP, Snagged Just Dance for me and my mate

    • @ $59 each? Or did you get the advertised price here?

      • i bought a PS4 copy from the joyce main web site.

  • +20

Too late to go to bed, too early to get ready for work…. Should i head down to HN and drop a turd at the front doors?

  • +6

Only found Destiny 2 and COD WWII were $5, but Far Cry 5 is $48. Think some prices are too good to be true.

  • -2

Thanks for the effort OP, I'm negging HN deal and not you. Nice first post but I'm calling it off. 2hrs waiting is more than enough.

  • +1

Just Dance 2019 Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch $8 on Joyce Mayne with fair shipping.
    https://www.joycemayne.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=Just+D…

  • The added the limit 2 per customer but almost everything is full price still. Unfortunately, I'm pretty tired and can almost guarantee they will be sold out when i wake up (if the price is updated). Oh well…

  • -1

Sadly no deals for PC except WW2 and BFV - one of which is completely dead and the other was doomed from the start.

  • Multiple games cheaper elsewhere including games in the title that aren't accurately priced.

edit: I wonder who is negging all the neggers? Has Gerry got an army on here?

To clarify my neg, as stated in the voting guidelines, products cheaper elsewhere and I also have a major issue with the retailer. Now if that's not enough to get the GH fans upset I don't know what is.

  • -1

The two non-PC games in title (Far Cry 5, South Park) aren't actually $4.75.

  • 3.30am and only cod and destiny are reduced.

Press Start - not journalists. Clickbaiters.

Their reviews are full of grammar mistakes if you go and give them a read.

I’ll be negged by them but it’s true, I miss the days of ecogamer where they knew what they were doing.

    • +2

Whoah haven't heard ecogamer in years. When did they shut down?

      • Fembot you are obviously a Troll.
Care to Explain how its PressStart Australia's fault??? They were given the information by Harvey Normans head office.
        They then published that information.
Its not their fault a Harvey Norman employee probablly fell asleep.
I got Far Cry 5 for $5.00 so how is it Clickbait???

    • +1

You think we just pulled these prices out of our wazoo? They came directly from HN’s Head of Gaming with the assurance they’d all be live at midnignt. All are live bar 2-3 of them, but sure put all the blame on us.

I loved EcoGamer too but comparing what they do, to what we do is like chalk and cheese. We review every AAA game at embargo, attend every overseas event and provide bargains and we’re made up of the tiniest team imaginable competing with outlets with teams of 100s.

      • +1

I was cranky at 3am. I understand HN gave you the deals. Sorry.

  • +1

These are some fantastic deals. Shame HN can't figure out how to sell games normally.

  • Hey, I could have got codww2 for 4.75, so really this is a bargain. I didn't, cos I've got a million other games to get through… But this is a great first deal, despite the slow updates on the site.

  • Poop.

  • Shipping is wrecked, COD $14.95

COD + Middle Earth + Destiny is $13.90…

Go figure. None are available for C&C near me.

  • +6

Hey guys! Not quite sure why some of the deals aren’t live yet. Was assured these would all be live at midnight for any item that was currently in stock. Have checked with HN, and will see what the go is.

Also, that 5% code will work on anything in the games/accessory category.

    • Thanks for the update. Would you be able to ask them why a bunch of stuff has the clearance tag but still at full RRP? Not just those items listed in here but a heap of other stuff too.

      • +1

They’ve been at the clearance tag since before yesterday. Have spoken to HN and everything will be manually updated this morning.

        • You wouldn’t know a rough time as to when they will update?

          • +1

@Akya: Unfortunately not. I’d say soon after 9am, just going off the fact they’re going to be manually updated.

  • +1

Promo code works, but listed prices are wrong. 5% discount only, Far Cry 5 is stil $45.60.

    Click bait.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got CoD for $4.75 pick up!

  • +2

I wish ozbargain made a new update that instead of negging the person u could neg the sales person/store. Op is doing us a favour. Doesn’t hardly Norman have price protection? Buy now, hope they change the price later and ask for price difference later or try to get a refund ;) best way around if supa keen I guess.

I feel they doing it on purpose and will gradually add discounts over the course very slowly to bait/maximise.

    • I agree on negging the store rather than OP - $14.95 to deliver a game is insane - even if said game is $5. It is HN - and we have come to expect little and not be disappointed.

    • I wish ozbargain made a new update that instead of negging the person u could neg the sales person/store.

That's exactly what negative votes are. You are voting on the deal/store/product. Not the person who posted it.

      edit:

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:voting_guidelines

To let others know about issues with the deal, merchant or product.

Try not to take negative votes personally.

  • -1

    Fake

  • -1

Still no price change on fc5 & forza7

  • +4

    $14.95 to ship one game??

  • They removed free shipping with shipster

  • +1

Poor OP. Thanks for trying though.

  • +2

    FC5 still $48, shame
Did anyone else get a chat pop up “Hello Ozbargainer” haha

  • I just noticed they are selling Resident Evil 2 for $58 (down to $56 with the code I guess). That seems pretty cheap?

    • Yeah. It’s a great game too.

  • +2

Hardly normal, you did it again

  • Prices are not updated yet, they are having us to beta test thier website or what. It's annoying by clicking on the link and still old prices.

  • +1

I only bothered to check the first four listed, and only two are the "sale" price

    • I got Resident Evil 2 for the cheapest price right now. Not sure why you negged.

  • 5% off code works but the prices are still their usual price

  • +2

    Wasted

    • All good now.. cried for bit then later able to pick farcry5

  • +7

    Far Cry is live now

    • Thanks. Managed to get a copy.
