Cudo / The Natural Source issue

Let's see how they handle this.

The deal I bought was this:

http://cudo.com.au/melbourne/pay-just-49-and-get-150-to-spen…

The deal states in the pink section near the bottom:
•PLUS you get free delivery within five business days! Your goods will be on your doorstep in no time!

Before buying the deal, I emailed The Natural Source.

Hi,

I live in Perth and am considering buying the Cudo offer. Can you please tell me whether the Cudo voucher includes postage? I could not find any info on postage on your website. Thanks!

I received this response:

Hi,

If you follow this link back to the cudo offer and look at the details in pink you will see the offer includes free delivery, too good an offer to refuse!

http://cudo.com.au/melbourne/pay-just-49-and-get-150-to-spen…

I bought the offer. I tried to place an order for $147 and was told I would pay $11 postage. I emailed The Natural Source, asking them to place the order manually. They wrote back stating that I had to pay postage and that my voucher is in fact only valid for $139 of products. There were a couple more emails, but that won't budge.

I have emailed Cudo and asked that they arrange for The Natural Source to honour their agreement or pay the postage themselves.

I'll post the reponse from Cudo.

This also serves as a heads up for potential buyers of vouchers for The Natural Source, that the deal may not be as it seems, even if you try to confirm.

Lol, Natural Source have absolutely no leg to stand on… on the Cudo site, it's clearly stated in the pink section and in the main body of text that there's free delivery included!

  • Surprisingly, Cudo have handled my complaint by…………………..ignoring it.

Does anyone have an email address for Cudo.

All the have is a web form and they do not send acknowledgement. At least in my case no acknowledgement or ticket was sent to me.

    • I emailed the business side of Cudo over the weekend and they got back to me late this arvo. They say I am still in a q and that they are backlogged from the long w/e. Would that be the Easter long w/e?

Not exactly the couple of hours reply time that the Cudo guy was bragging about in that Generation C article.

  • Eleven days later and not even an acknowledgement, even though one of their employees say my complaint is in the q. Sigh…..time for a credit card reversal. Sad, as the boss man was claiming they'd respond to a lot of things within two hours.

    • So here is Cudos response to my email complaining of the changed terms and conditions

As they are attending to a large number of orders, there may be a slight delay with shipping. We appreciate your patience. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

      • So I respond with

        Dear Jessica,

It is obvious you have not even read my emails.

I have not placed an order with the Natural Source because they have changed the terms and conditions. Please read my previous emails and please see this thread if you still do not understand. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/44210

Is Cudo going to do something other than send emails that do not relate to my complaint?

        • And I send this email to their business section:

          HI Cudo Team,

It looks like your customer service people do not know how to read or do not care.

See what I have been writing about CUDO in a public forum.

          http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/44210

Can you please have someone who can read email me to reverse this transaction as The Natural Source has changed their terms and conditions.

I am getting ready to file a complaint with WA Consumer Protection. They assure me they have hurisdiction and that they are very interested in looking at these sorts of matters. I will do this Wednesday unless a real person contact me and tells me that the credit card charge is going to be reversed.

That's terrible.. i had a great experience with cudo a few months ago.

Basically it was a laser treatment for acne etc
I came there and the lady said oh no this treatment is bad for acne and you should swap it for a peel.
I paid 89 bucks for the voucher for $450 worth of laser treatment.
The peel rrp $100 at the shop..

    They refunded me in full

    • If they would read my emails or this forum they would know I am not waiting on these items to arrive.

    • You can do peels easily yourself. No need to spend even $15 on a group buy voucher.

  • Cudo finally responded with a personal response and said that free shipping meant you could pay for it with your voucher amount. If that was the case then the woman at NS should have told me it would be $11 out of voucher instead of telling me it was FREE.

Anyway, Cudo has given me a $20 credit.

Thay are wrong however, but the $20 credit will be used as I am an addict, so I am ahead.
