Power Supply under $120 for Ryzen 2600 + Vega 64

Hi…. Building the folliwng system:

Ryzen 5 2600 $235 shipped from Amazon
2x8gb Gskill ripjaws 3600 - $85.80 Newegg
MSI b450 gaming plus ATX- $144 shipped PC BYTE
Thermal take RGB 700w smart plus psu - $85 umart
Asus Vega 64 $700 - Umart

went to Johnnyguru.com Thread and they say the thermaltake smart rgb 700w is not the best. If I buy the rgb 700w, it might help me to get a better case. Looking at Cougar 650, 750 GSX series or Thermaltake Smart RGB PRO 600w as per their recommendation. Was about $20 or so away from a Corsair rx or bit more TX 650 series. Pretty much has to be from Umart.com.au Link as this is close to me. Asking them for better prices as well… :)

  • If you could stretch to $130, the EVGA 650G+ would be a solid pick .

    • one the recommendations from johnnyguru was the G3? EVGA G3 650

      • unless you can get it for 120.

      • +1

G2 and G3 from EVGA are both top tier power supplies. But a few dollars more than you are looking at.

      • The one i linked

    • I always overlook these until someone suggests…

  • Consider this Coolermaster PSU?

Quick Google says it's got good reviews. Semi modular, more than enough power and 80 plus gold rated.

Also unsure if your RAM is 2 sticks or 1 as you haven't linked and I can't find them on NewEgg, but hopefully you're looking at getting a set of 2 ram so you can run in dual channel

    • old post from here it's 16gb now

  • Gigabyte GP-G750H

  • Going for the evga ATM… Think I just had a dream about a power supply….
